About Karen Fisher

Our family recently purchased this amazing home. We fell in love with the pines, the unique architecture of the home itself and the best location in Incline Village. We look forward to enjoying this as a family retreat and sharing the beauty of this piece of Lake Tahoe paradise with you.

We searched for months to find the perfect home where we could relax in the peace and serenity of the lake. This property was not only beautiful but also located on the quiet part of Lakeshore Boulevard surrounded by tall pines and beautiful estates.

What makes this house unique

Located just two blocks from the beach and Hyatt Regency, we love the ability to park for the week and walk to dinner and summer activities. In the winter we can't wait to shuttle to the ski areas or stay in and sip cocoa next to the fire while we watch the snow fall.

SUMMER:This home is conveniently located to the 3 private Incline Beaches & boat ramp available. Two of the beaches (walking distance) have grassy lawn areas, play equipment, and snack bars. Burnt Cedar beach has an extra large swimming pool and an adjoining children's pool. Our local recreation center has fee amenities: an indoor Olympic swimming pool, full gym, weight and exercise equipment room, and a large number of classes. Incline Village has two 18 hole golf courses and an extensive tennis center- 11 courts and a variety of lessons and pros available. All have pro shops. The Hyatt Regency located 2 blocks away has numerous restaurants and the beautiful “Stillwater” spa. WINTER: Free shuttle from Hyatt to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Diamond Peak Ski areas. Fee bus to Northstar. All are a less than 1 hour drive. Heavenly Valley and South Lake Tahoe with its numerous casinos and entertainment venues is 30+ minute drive.

Pre summer vacation stay

This is the third time we've stayed at Whispering Pines Chalet and it's always a wonderful experience. This was the first time we took our children (10 & 5) and they had a blast! Karen, the owner is great! She and her husband are very accommodating. The home is very clean and spacious. We enjoyed just sitting outside on the new patio furniture and soaking in the Tahoe air. You could not ask for a better location. We walked five minutes to Hyatt beach and enjoyed some lake time. The weather was absolutely perfect. Needless to say, we will be renting this home again in the very near future. Thanks again Karen!

Comfortable March week for skiing vacation.

We enjoyed staying at this house. It is big and roomy, comfortably furnished and arranged. Had no trouble getting in using homeowners instructions. Also good information on how to turn on the fireplace correctly. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked with most basic items. Could have used some instructions on turning on the dishwasher as we've never seen on like it.
Washer and dryer worked well.
House is within easy walking distance to many restaurants, beach and parks.
We had an enjoyable time.
There is one discrepancy in the description of the house. It lists 3.5 baths which isn't correct. It's actually 2 full baths and 3 half baths.
We would stay here again.

Spacious and comfortable home

We stayed at this wonderful home for winter break. The house was even nicer than we'd expected from the listing. It was very clean and well-maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. We really just had to supplied our own groceries. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the process. We drove a mere 5 minutes to Diamond Peak everyday to ski; it was also a quick walk down to the Hyatt for pre-dinner drinks. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Great Weekend Away

What an awesome home! Very cozy and had all the ammenities that we could have wished for. Great location as well! We came up to take the kids skiing at Diamond Peak and were pleasantly suprised that it was only a 5 minute drive from the house to the resort. We were also able to walk a short distance down to the lake and to nearby restaurants in the area. We had a blast! We look forward to visiting again real soon.

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 year old boys and yellow lab. What an awesome location! Nice comfortable home, updated kitchen, spacious living room. We had great weather and even had picnic dinners 2 nights at Incline Beach! Great toddler playground there. Easy walk to the Hyatt for afternoon hot chocolates. The owner was very nice and responsive. Would love to stay here again!
