Located only a block from the Corona Del Mar State Beach, surrounded by multi-million dollar homes, this beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo (only 3 other units in this building) is the perfect place for your next vacation. There is also an almost identical upstairs unit if this one is booked.

This fabulous downstairs unit features a spacious living room, a bright, sunny full kitchen with granite counters and all new stainless steel appliances, a kitchen bar with seating, a charming dining area, and a small balcony to enjoy a cup of coffee and a barbecue for grilling.

There are 2 bedrooms, both with their own flat screen TV, one with a brand new king bed and one with a brand new queen bed. The bathroom has been fully remodeled with luxurious tile and new fixtures.

New hardwood floors have been installed throughout and the living room includes a brand new down sofa bed and ceiling fan for your comfort.

Included for your enjoyment is are 3 flat screen televisions, a DVD player, cable TV and secure wireless Internet access. This unit also comes with a garage and a coin-op washer and dryer in the laundry room located in the garage. We’re pleased to provide beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella, an ice chest, a wagon and boogie boards.

This unit has ceiling fans and ocean breezes for cooling. This unit does not have air-conditioning.

This property is located in Newport's Corona Del Mar beach district, just a quick walk to the Corona Del Mar State Beach. The village has the California beach town feel and is just a block away. Dinner out, coffee in the morning or a trip to the market within walking distance. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy Newport without being caught up in the crowd.

Crystal Cove one of California's most pristine beaches is 5 minutes South, just before the famous Laguna Beach, well known for it's art galleries, stylish boutiques and restaurants. For those who enjoy shopping, Newport's Fashion Island is 5 minutes North and also features a selection of restaurants and movie theaters. Of course there's always Newport Harbor and Pier to visit as well an Balboa Island.

We (hubby, myself + 2 kids) travelled from Australia to LA for my husbands conference in Disneyland. We needed a place to stay after the conference for some relaxation time and for me to catch up with my family in CA. I found this cute little unit after many searches on the internet whilst in Australia and I'm so glad I decided to go with this one! Travelling with young kids ( ages 7 & 2), we needed to have everything close by but also needed to be in a quiet location. Well this certainly ticked all the boxes. We absolutely loved everything about the place. It was a walk to the beach and a walk to all the shops and we were surrounded by beautiful homes. Just the way a family vacation should be. Although the unit was on the small side, it was perfect for our small family. A 2nd bathroom would have been nice, but for the price, you couldn't ask for any better. Whenever relatives would come to visit, they were all amazed at how nice the place was. We definitely won't hesitate to stay here again in our next visit.

Corona del Mar - we love it here !

We loved everything about our stay in this apartment.
The contact with beachside vacation rental was -again - very nice. Beth and Jilinda answered our mails promptly and everything went smooth.
We were happy to return to Corona. Shops and restaurants are close by, surely the beach. The quiet and beautiful neighborhood. For us - it was perfect !
We stayed for 1 week in the apartment above and then moved down to stay another 2 weeks in this apartment with the patio.
Hope to be back next year ! :-)

My latest "home away from home" in Corona del Mar is - far and away - the nicest, best-located vacation rental I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The condo is stylishly decorated with an eye for comfort and attention to detail. Unlike most vacation rentals, this one made me feel like I could actually live in it for an extended period. It is impeccably clean: I even did exercises on the shag rug in the livingroom and got up without a speck of lint on my navy blue shirt! The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, nice stainless flatware, plenty of glassware, refrigerator storage containers, appliances, and cleaning supplies. In addition, the onsite laundry room was convenient for me as a single guest, so I'm sure it would be even more highly valued by a family. The patio is nicer than the photos show: there's a huge pine tree that provides all-day shade, making it an inviting place to dine or read or just watch the world walk by. Which brings me to the neighborhood: the location is incomparable! Although impressively quiet at night, the sidewalks are active with people walking their dogs, jogging, and pushing their children in strollers throughout the day. And unlike other places in the LA area where people don't ever make eye contact, everyone here seemed to be quick with a friendly greeting. I've been coming to this beach since I was in college in the 70s, but even so, I underestimated what a great walking neighborhood it would turn out to be. In additon to the beautiful ocean-front park areas and the sandy beach, the neighborhood itself is an architectural feast! You could walk a mile in all directions from the condo everyday and still not see all the homes. From the most modest to the poshest, the properties are beautifully landscaped and maintained, making every walk a visual pleasure. For more intrepid walkers, a walk along Pacific Coast Highway in one direction brings you to Crystal Cove Beach and in the other direction up the hill to the very nice Fashion Island Mall. (The latter walk is a great way to rationalize a slice of Snickers cheesecake with whipped cream at the Cheesecake Factory!) All told, I loved everything about this place - I hope to be back again and again. Special thanks to Jilinda, Betty, and Brad for their very gracious and professional management of the condo - it was a great experience!

Even better than expected

Based on the pictures of this rental, and my interactions with the rental managers, I was expecting to have a great stay in this vacation rental, and expecting it to be absolutely lovely, but I was still surprised by how perfect it actually was.

The decor of the condo was so charming. I loved the plants, the white ceramic fish, the whale on the wall. I am a person who loves details, so none of these were lost on me. All of the furniture was lovely, everything was perfectly clean. There was nothing to interrupt the completely relaxing atmosphere, or take me out of vacation mode for even one moment. I was also pleased to find that not only were the kitchen cabinets full of glasses, dishes, and plates, but one cabinet also contained salt, pepper, and olive oil. It was great to know that if my husband and I had stayed longer, we would have had some cooking essentials at our fingertips.

The rental is also in a perfect location. It was within walking distance of the restaurant where we had dinner, and the cafe where we got coffee in the morning, and is also a short walk to the beach. By car it was only a few minutes to the Balboa Penninsula, Balboa Island, and Fashion Island, so you can really visit a lot of places very conveniently when staying here.

Overall, it was amazing. One of the best vacation stays I've had, and I wish we could have stayed longer.
