Why stay in Issaquah? It’s easy to get to—just 20 minutes from Seatac airport and downtown Seattle via I-90. Maybe not as well-known as Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond or West Seattle, Issaquah can still offer you movies, restaurants, Costco, Target, Freddies & PCC natural foods.
Grocery, Starbucks, Pizza and Thai within 1 mile. Downtown Issaquah has some great restaurants, live theater and quaint shops as well as the usual Target, Fred Meyer, Costco. Check out Gilman Village antiques and some of the spas nearby. Issaquah folks are multicultural, college educated, interesting and informed about the world around them.
Top ranked public schools including Skyline High School, Challenger Elementary and Beaver Lake Middle School. And since I-90 has several lanes connecting you to I-5 or I-405, you will rarely ever get stuck in traffic like you will in some of the neighborhood enclaves near Seattle.
You are still just 20-25 minis. to zoos, the Space Needle/Pike Place market, Snoqualmie Falls and lots of other attractions. Plus, the plateau location means you will not hear any of the traffic noise often associated with the Seattle neighborhoods.
