Be at the doorstep to adventure on the Kenai Peninsula with Alaska Heavenly Lodge. This first class property offers luxury lodging surrounded by amazing natural beauty. Just a scenic 99 mile drive southeast of Anchorage, Heavenly Lodge is nestled in the quaint town of Cooper Landing at the headwaters of the world famous Kenai River. Our exquisite lodge sleeps 2 to 25 guests on 18 acres at the base of Mt. Cecil and overlooking the river.

Alaska Heavenly Lodge consists of three cabins: the Main Lodge, Mt. Cecil Cabin, and the Russian River Room. The Main Lodge and Mt. Cecil Cabin house guests while the Russian River Room serves as a common area including an outdoor hot tub, sauna, and billiards. Regardless of your group size, please inquire about accommodations here at Heavenly!

About The Owner

Brian and Katy Borchers have made their home on and off in Cooper Landing for the past 10 years. Shortly after their graduation from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, they began working for a local outfitter on the Kenai River and fell in love with the location and community. Management of select destination fly-fishing lodges took them to locations such as El Placer, Quintana Roo, Mexico and Kukaklek Lake, Katmai National Park, Alaska, but when the opportunity to manage Alaska Heavenly Lodge in Cooper Landing presented itself they grabbed it with both hands.

Katy grew up in the interior of Alaska, Delta Jct., and has traveled extensively throughout the state. However, she hasn't seen, and cannot imagine a place more beautiful than Cooper Landing! Brian always dreamed of traveling to Alaska, growing up in Fredericksburg, Virginia. They both enjoy fishing the Kenai River and it's tributaries, hiking the surrounding Chugach Mountains, and visiting with guests exchanging stories of adventure.

The Lovely Luxury Lodge :)

My family and I stayed at the Lodge for a long weekend this past summer and enjoyed every minute of it. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting and the kitchen was wonderful. We enjoyed the firepit, the hot tub and the easy access to some nearby handicap accessible trails (which all the kids and moms with strollers really appreciated). I am planning on organizing a winter trip to take advantage of the x-country skiing and snowmachining trails. I would recommend this lodge for anyone looking for amazing accommodations in an amazing place.

Our experience at Alaska Heavenly Lodge was perfect! Beautiful, quiet, and excellent service. Brian and Katy were exceptional. Very professional, wonderfully personable, and incredibly helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we will definitely be visiting again!

Great Family Get-Away

Alaska Heavenly Lodge had everything our family needed. The beautiful scenery and cozy accomodations were perfect for my husband, our 15 month old daughter, and myself. We enjoyed games out on the gorgeous front lawn, a scenic view of the Kenai River, a camp fire in the evening, and sipping our morning coffee on the deck in front of our cabin. It was relaxing , and the lodge staff was helpful and friendly. Any family or group would have a wonderful time at this spectaculary Alaskan get-away.
