Phoenix By The Sea is an 'island style' villa located high on the hillside above Rendezvous Bay on St. John's south shore. This fully air conditioned villa features both a pool and hot tub and from this hillside location affords unforgettable views of Rendezvous and Reef Bays and the Caribbean Sea. The villa is very private, yet only a short 10 minute drive to the main town of Cruz bay and 5 -10 minutes further on to the world-renowned beaches on the north shore of St. John.
Enter this lovely Caribbean-style home through a private gated entrance and down a stairway bordered by native stone walls set amidst lush tropical landscaping. At the bottom of the stairway you will enter the air conditioned great room through elegant french entry doors and be greeted by new Caribbean styled designer furnishings. Native stone walls accent the great room and breathtaking views of the Caribbean can be seen through full wall sliding glass doors. These sliding doors lead to the spacious upper deck complete with lounge chairs, casual seating areas and the in-deck hot tub.
The newly renovated gourmet kitchen and adjacent dining room are entered from the great room through large individual wall openings. The gourmet kitchen features new custom designed maple cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, elegant granite counter tops and a granite topped breakfast bar sitting atop a handcrafted native stone base. The breakfast bar partially separates the kitchen from the dining room and provides additional seating for two persons. The kitchen and dining room also feature remote controlled air conditioning, new dining room furnishings which includes a formal dining table with seating for six and sliding glass doors leading from the dining area to the large upper deck.
Directly outside the dining room sliding glass doors is a gazebo styled covered area complete with gas BBQ grill and and an exotic teak table and chairs with seating for six which is the perfect setting for an alfresco meal while enjoying the panoramic ocean views.
There are two bedrooms located on the main level that are reached through another set of french doors which open to an outside covered tiled walkway lined with a native stone wall and exotic landscaping. The master suite with king bed and en-suite bathroom featuring a tub/shower combination is located at one end of the tiled courtyard. There is a sliding glass door leading to the upper deck and hot tub. A second bedroom with two twin beds (convertible to a king bed) and en-suite bathroom featuring a tiled walk-in shower is located adjacent to the master bedroom but separated by the bathroom for privacy. There is also a sliding glass door from the bedroom which leads to the upper deck and hot tub. Both bedrooms are individually air conditioned and feature flat screen televisions, cable TV and DVD players. A queen sleeper sofa in the great room provides an additional sleeping option on the upper level.
Covered, exterior stairs lead from the upper deck to the spacious newly renovated lower deck where you will enjoy the refreshing swimming pool, lounge chairs, casual seating areas and equally incredible views of the Caribbean sea.
The third air conditioned bedroom, with en suite bath, is located on the lower deck and also features flat screen television with cable TV, DVD player, and sliding glass doors on two walls to enjoy the magnificent views.
