With all of its conservation oriented design, Satinwood provides discriminating guests with all of the conveniences and comforts expected in a deluxe private vacation accommodation on St. John.

Guests arriving at Satinwood will be greeted by the inviting sculpted swimming pool and fabulous surrounding tiled deck complete with lounge chairs for sunning against the background of awe inspiring views of the east end of St. John and the Caribbean Sea. A patio table with seating for six is also located on the pool deck and features a collapsible umbrella to provide shade for afternoon 'sundowners' or a casual alfresco meal.

The main house features a great room replete with comfortable furniture and an 'entertainment wall' consisting of large screen TV with cable TV connection, DVD player, CD player, stereo audio system, books, puzzles and games. The fully equipped kitchen is complete with energy efficient appliances and all the necessary items to prepare snacks to full meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with table and chairs that will accommodate up to eight. The large glass wall with sliding glass door leads from the main living area to a private veranda where a gas BBQ grill and several comfortable lounge chairs are located.

Satinwood offers comfortable sleeping accommodations for up to ten guests. There are two master bedrooms located on the main level each consisting of one king size bed, full en-suite bathroom with shower and a ladder accessible loft with two twin beds. There is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and floor/table fans located in the lofts.

The lower level is a complete studio apartment featuring a full kitchen with all amenities, a king sized bed with en-suite bath and walk-in shower and a sitting area complete with comfortable chairs, a TV with DVD player, small audio system and ceiling fan.

Satinwood is named for the large satinwood tree growing out of the lower deck. Just as this particular species of tree has become quite rare and unique to St. John, so will be your vacation experience at Satinwood - A Unique and Special Villa!
