Paraíso del Mar Malibu is located on one of the most desirable stretches of oceanfront property in Southern California. If what you are looking for is a true Malibu beach house experience, it does not get any better than this! This “Paradise of the Sea” is a four story, 2,500sq/ft. luxury ocean front house with amenities normally found at one of the finest properties in the area with accommodations usually reserved for the most demanding vacationers. This extraordinary four bedroom, 3.5 baths oasis can accommodate up to 10 people.

The First Level contains a 500 sq./ft. Trax deck that is 10 feet above the beach and ocean and includes a 7 person Hot Tub. In addition to the deck area there is a 500 sq./ft. gameroom with Brunswick Pool Table, game table(pool, air hockey, ping pong), sofa, and a large flatscreen television. A two seat Kayak, Boogie Boards, Fishing Poles, and Beach Chairs are also made available for tenant use.

Level Two is the main living area with street access. This stunning floor includes a full kitchen with all Viking appliances; solid wood cabinets, Brazilian Blue Granite counter tops, and an “L” shaped counter surrounding the kitchen that seats 7 comfortably. Also on Level Two is the living room with a fireplace encased in gorgeous Red Quartz, fronted by 2 chaise lounges, which open to a queen bed, a full sleeper couch, and love seat. The couch combos sleep 4 comfortably. Above this outstanding fireplace is a large flatscreen television with Blu-ray video and surround sound audio systems. The living room looks out to the beautiful Pacific Ocean through full floor to ceiling doors that open up to another outside balcony that includes a full see-through glass wall allowing a full, unobstructed view of the ocean. Between the living room and kitchen is a spacious dining room table. A half bathroom serves this area of the floor. Towards the front of the house is a one-car garage and a guest Bedroom with sleeper sofa, wardrobe, a flatscreen television and a full size bathroom with both a shower and bathtub.

On Level Three is another guest Bedroom, the Master Bedroom, and outside Balcony. The guest bedroom has twin bunk beds with a Trundle Bed along with a Queen Size Bed and large Flatscreen Television. A full size Bathroom with a shower and bathtub serves the guest bedroom. The Master Bedroom includes a flatscreen television located above a beautiful Red Quartz encased fireplace. The Master Bedroom also includes a library/sitting nook in front of the fireplace and a wall of glass that overlooks the attached balcony with unobstructed views of the ocean. The Master Bathroom includes a separate toilet closet, a large Steam Shower with rain ceiling nozzle and standard shower nozzle and a Jacuzzi Bathtub. The Steam Shower easily accommodates 5 people comfortably.

A spiral staircase on Level 3 takes you up to Level 4, the Rooftop. This is a very special place at Paraíso del Mar. The Rooftop includes a Cupola that includes a built-in closet, a sofa bed, wardrobe, a small refrigerator, and flatscreen television. The remainder of the rooftop is a deck with lounge chairs, sofas, heat lamp, and umbrella. The rooftop deck provides a full 360-degree view of the area, including the Malibu shoreline from Point Dume in the north all the way down to Palos Verdes in the south, along with Catalina and the Channel Islands. On a warm evening, the rooftop doubles as the sleeping area.

In addition to everything described above, all flooring throughout the house is imported Tiger bamboo hardwood. And all walls are covered with luxurious Venetian plaster. The entire house has central air conditioning and heating. And as a special added benefit, your vacation home includes high thread count sheets, board games, high quality air mattresses with electric air pump, a private dry sandy beach 100 feet north of the property and much, much, more. Paraíso del Mar will certainly prove to be a Paradise experience, and prove that dreams do come true...

Our family was looking for a nice ocean view home in Malibu to spend a relaxing week together and we found a winner! Paraiso del Mar was absolutely beautiful and met all of our needs and expectations. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the Game Room and large Hot Tub along with the beach just a few yards away from the ocean deck. And all of us had a hard time leaving the Roof Deck with it's amazing view of the Pacific Ocean! The boogie boards and snorkeling equipment provided was a big hit also! We cooked almost every night and the kitchen was more than adequate and had everything we required, along with the gas BBQ grill on the balcony. And one of the biggest surprises was the location of the property being about halfway between Malibu and Santa Monica was very convenient for us as we spent time going in both directions. Adam was amazing as he provided numerous recommendations for us and the kids to do while we were there and we loved the restaurant he made reservations for us in Santa Monica. We look forward to spending another fabulous vacation in Malibu next year and hopefully this property will be available!

Beware! Terrible Customer Service/House had issues

We had some issues at this home and the owner/manager was very rude and accusatory and did not take responsibility for any of the issues. He was very unaccommodating and unprofessional. He does not know how to treat people. The only thing he compensated us for is the ant/gnat problem! This home is not comfortable for more than 4 adults and 2 kids. (Even though it is advertised as “sleeps 10.”) The pullout couches/futon beds are very uncomfortable. You can feel the metal wiring in the mattresses. Also the beds do not have memory foam mattresses. The sheets are definitely not 1000-thread count more like cheap 100 thread count. And the bath in the master bedroom leaked through the ceiling and out of the a/c vent onto the kitchen/dining area. Just to name a few issues we had with this place. But there were many more and he did not care. Unfortunately it was a very stressful and traumatizing experience dealing with him.

Owner's Response: Every year we get one or two customers that no matter what we do, we simply cannot satisfy them. This is one of those. BTW… Her initials are not S.R., they are D.B., AND she checked in SEP 5th, not OCT 3rd.

D.B. started complaining BEFORE she even stepped out of her car. As she left her car she then complained about the garbage cans lined up along the wall next to Garage, saying they are taking up too much space and she had hard time parking.

The next morning (Saturday) I get a couple of text messages for a few minor issues and ants in the Kitchen. I immediately called to confirm and yes, there were ants so I drove over to the property immediately. When we got to the property I was met with a tsunami of complaints and the ants weren’t even her major concern. I first asked about the ants and quickly took care of them with spray. (Up until then we never had ants.) Then I was handed a multiple page printed copy of the website description that D.B. highlighted in Yellow with every issue she had with the property. She then read through the entire description to describe all the things she felt were wrong with the property. She must have stayed up all night doing this. After listening to her rant on and on for what seamed like 15 minutes I finally offered her a FULL refund if she left the property. I had never done this before but I saw no other solution! There was NO WAY I would be able to satisfy this person. Then her entire mood changed and she started coming up with reasons why it would be a inconvenience for her and her family to leave and that she purchased all this food for the weekend. She only drove 20 minutes from her home in the Valley so I couldn’t understand what the inconvenience was. Plus, if this property was such a HORRIBLE place and she was offered a FULL refund, why would she want to stay? D.B. said they wanted to stay since they were settled in plus they had all this food. Plus she said that since the ant issue was taken care of, everything else is fine now. So, when we left everything was fine. But then she would text me every time there was something in the house that bothered her. This went on all day Saturday and Sunday!

D.B. did end up filing a grievance with American Express trying to get her money back, but she was denied.

To anyone looking to rent our property, we get very few complaints and if there’s an issue, we go above and beyond to make things right as quickly as possible!

Great Location,

My wife and I stayed for four days. Located not far from Moonshadows and the main strip of Malibu. The house is nicely decorated and clean. Great for families and couples that want to relax.

The manager of the unit is very attentive and great to work with. Absolutely no issues, I would definitely recommend this place for a great Malibu experience.
