I stayed at the condo for a month with my 18 month old baby. I travel regularly to Jamaica among other locations and I know how hard it is to predict what your accomodation will be like until you get there. We were pleasantly suprised. The apartment was spacious and very well maintained. We had arranged with the owner to have a cot provided and aqn initial supply of groceries as we were coming from Ireland and had been travelling for a long time. This was all there when we arrived and we were able to settle in for the night, ready to explore the rest of the property the following morning. The beach was just a short walk down the hill and there were free sun loungers available for guests if you asked at the entrance to the beach. The security staff would also offer to help carry this down for me as i was already balancing are beach bag and the baby, which was very kind of them. The beach was generally quiet however I managed to make some good friends down there who were staying just outside ochi. There is a bar/restuarant at the beachj and a small gift shop. The restaurant was a little more expensive than local places in town, but the food was nice and I expect this to be a little pricy as there is a boat which takes large groups of tourists out for the afternoon. We bought in foods and the condo was so close we could nip back to the room for our lunch and come back in the afternoon without any problem. The housekeeper Dawn was very pleasant and friendly and took care of any laundry and cleaning we needed done. We just gave her a call and she would come down. We tipped her for this service but it still worked out cheraper than what it would cost to have laundry done in town. The security staff were always walking about monitoring the properties and where very helpful when asked for information or assistance. the gardens were beautifully maintained and the view from the balcony was breath taking! The balcony was a perfect little haven to catch some rays while my daughter had her morning nap. I have stayed at the nearby Sunset Jamiaca Grand and and rooms on the beach and this condo was by far my favourite! I would definately stay here when returning and I have been recommending it to my own friends and family. all correspondence with the condo owner was always helpful and I honestly would recommend it to all family types. Its so close to everything yet it is still such a quiet and private location. It is the perfect balance! Hope you stay and enjoy!
