Vail Chalet Rental Photos and Description
Chalet, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10-12)
This 4000 sq. ft. luxury chalet is located on the mountainside near Vail. This great alpine setting offers spectacular views and backs up to the National Forest. From our home it is an easy 7 mile drive to Vail on I-70.
Our home has three levels with 4 bedrooms plus a 5th bedroom-office off the master, and there are 3.5 bathrooms with marble, granite and tile. The first level has 3 bedrooms and a game room. The master bedroom suite occupies the top level. The office off the master has been converted to a bedroom with a queen bed (perfect for families). The master suite has cathedral ceilings and decks on two sides. We have converted the old fireplace to a new gas stove that makes the room very comfortable.
The center level is one large great room perfect for entertaining. The room has large decks wrapping around the building. There is a dining table, built in breakfast nook and seating at the center island (plenty of room for a large group). The kitchen is part of the great room and does not separate the cooks from the party. We just put in all new rock for the fireplace and TV. The rock is the same as the Four Seasons in Vail. The fireplace is a very large gas fire that keeps the whole great-room warm even when the outside temps are well below zero. The hot tub is new and has 2 motors running 56 jets to sooth the aching muscles.
In February and March we rent mostly by the week. Saturday to Saturday

About Bill Tuthill
My brother Walt and I are partners in the home. I am a veterinarian in Colorado Springs and Walt is a Lawyer with Morris Nichols Arsch and Tunnell in Wilmington DE
Bill Tuthill purchased this chalet in 1994
Why Bill Tuthill chose Vail
We decided on this location because of it's proximity to the best skiing and because of its size. We wanted a place where we could get our families together all at the same time. We also like the place because of its private alpine setting up the mountain and backing to the National Forest.
