We welcome you to our private, owner occupied, gated estate with its Hawaiian gardens of Queen Palms, banana trees, papayas, flowers, and wild guava forest. Located on the mountain slope just a five minute drive above Kailua-Kona village, peace, privacy, and relaxing temperatures in the 70's and 80's are yours to enjoy after a day of touring, etc.

A private garden of tropical ferns, orchids, and birds greet you at the 1Bdedroom unit's entry and dining patio. Beautifuly decorated inside and out in the Hawaiian Tropical decor, the accommodations are designed for your vacation enjoyment. Enjoy the welcoming 'Aloha Basket' containing local fruit, Kona Coffee, tea and other local products.

Wander through our organic agricultural estate of hundreds of banana trees, fruit trees, pineapples, vegetable garden and flowers. This private estate is yours to explore, relax in and enjoy. Beach Goers: Free use of our Beach Towels, Boogie Boards, Beach Chairs, Beach Mats and Ice Chest.

Scuba Divers - hit the shore dives along our incredible coastline just minutes away. We can assist you in contacts with the local dive resources in our community.

WC Ironman 2012

We stayed here because of our participation in the Ironman world championship. The property was all we expected: comfortable, quiet, nicely situated at an altitude that created very good sleeping conditions (temperature) and at less than 10 minutes drive from all the activities in Kona.

This is a really nice place to stay. While not luxurious, the studio is spacious, clean, very comfortable and well kept, and it has everything you need.. There's no air conditioning, but there's no need of it, as the studio is surprisingly cool at all times. It is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and it is very quiet and peaceful. It is a bit up in the mountains, but at the same time very close to shops and activities, so the location is also very good.
The owners are very welcoming and ready to help, and they gave us several gifts of fruit and coffee, as well as lots of information about the area. There's also a BBQ for the guests as well as snorkeling and beach equipment, coolers, etc. to borrow.
All in all, we really recommend this place.

Lovely and spacious studio condo, Cecelia and Neil are extremely gracious hosts and offered us a variety of fruits that they grow on the property, and even a loaf of home-made pineapple bread! Location was great, convenient distance from everything, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Thanks so much!

We stayed in the one bedroom,it was perfect for the two of us, it was better than pictures.The paulsens are great,great people,very helpful with everything,from where to shop for food to where to park in town.Itwas very clean,neat,the grounds were wounderful,peaceful,very calming great place to relax.You are only 10 min. from town .snorkeling,Swimming Restaurants,gro.stores,shopping.We are already planning our next trip,this time we plan to rent both places and take our daughter and son- in- law. Mahalo for a perfect vacation
