Cabier Ocean Lodge - Grenada´s Hidden Treasure

Your hosts Iris & Bruno, know the island well. They can suggest interesting trips to explore Grenada. We are not far from any of the main attractions. You can visit picturesque towns (St George’s around the harbour is reckoned to be the best in the Caribbean), see how the island's spices are processed, and tour an organic chocolate factory. Sometimes you can be invited to visit Florence's rum-shop for the best chocolate cake on the island. For those interested in snorkeling, apart from snorkeling around Cabier’s reef, Bruno will help you explore the still pristine reefs on our east coast. We can organize sailing tours (reserve when you book) and local boat trips. For the more active guests there is cliff top walking and many nature trails. Enjoy a nature walk with Andy as a guide and experience the unique beauty of unspoiled beaches, waterfalls (even swim in them) and the tropical forest with its cinnamon, nutmeg and cacao trees with colourful birds and butterflies.

There is Wireless LAN Internet access in the lodge and Two Bays, room safes in all our guestrooms, laundry facilities, games, taxi service and sightseeing tours starting directly from the Lodge. We can arrange sailing tours around Grenada (reserve when booking). Your rental car can be delivered directly to our lodge without extra cost or picked up at the airport. Guests who hire vehicles are advised to specify 4x4. For rent: snorkeling and fishing equipment, Our sandy beach with clear silky and warm water is safe for swimming and protected by our offshore reef. We cater for Weddings/Workshops/Incentives/Family Reunions.

For celebrations, weddings and honeymoons we organize whatever you need to make it that special occasion. Your hosts Iris and Bruno Delvallee speak English, French and German. Bruno offers cooking workshops for guests who are interested in Creole and Caribbean cuisine.

Cabier Ocean Lodge has been described as ‘Grenada’s hidden treasure’ but you do not need to have a pot of gold to stay there. Cabier is near the village of Crochu on the west coast of Grenada, about 45 minutes from St George’s and the airport.

Cabier Ocean Lodge and Two Bays are on a promontory surrounded by water on three sides. On one side is a perfect white sand beach with a clear calm sea, on the other a shallow bay, used only by a couple of small fishing boats and a family of pelicans. Ahead is the open sea where you can watch the waves breaking against the reef that protects our beaches and behind you can see the mountains covered with rainforest. There are no other hotels or buildings on the headland or beaches and it is in a completely natural environment, but with all the comforts that you might need.

All rooms at Cabier have ceiling fans and verandas with spectacular views. Air conditioning is available in the Beach-Star rooms and Two Bays if needed.
