While relaxing on your Paki Maui condo's private lanai, you will have incredible views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i and the breathtaking Hawaiian sunsets will be a lasting memory. Listen to the local sounds announcing sunset every evening by the blowing of the conch shells up and down the coast.
Your entry door provides you with tropical grounds including a tranquil koi fishpond and waterfall. The ocean front shows you the grassy lawn area just adjacent to the waters edge of the ocean - just perfect for sunbathing. Some stairs just 4 or 5 lead you to protected waters - ideal for snorkeling. During your snorkeling experience, you may see the magnificent Giant Sea Turtles, many tropical fish and colorful coral. There is a gated heated pool and Jacuzzi area surrounded by lounge chairs, beautiful Hawaiian flowers and plants. You may choose to barbecue your meals on the two gas BBQ grills in the recently renovated pool/cabana area and enjoy your meal on your oceanfront private lanai.
If your travels bring you to Maui from mid-December through April, you will be treated to the magical experience watching the migration of the incredible Humpback whales to the warm Maui waters. Watch these “gentle giant’s” frolic in the channel from your lanai or book a trip on a local whale watching boat where whale sightings are practically guaranteed during this time. Pods of spinner dolphins and giant green sea turtles can be seen year round. Occasionally a Monk Seal will stop on the sandy beach for a quick snooze.
We did a total redo when we purchased the condo and even just recently repainted it, This unit (#402) is a spacey one bedroom, with a new Queen size sofa sleeper. OK so it seems the bedroom is wall to wall bed but you can stretch out till you heart’s content and by the way, it’s all so cushy you’ll sleep like a log. The bed is a pedestal type with nice big cedar lines drawers for your folded clothes. The unit has stone flooring. When we remodeled we decided to remove the old bath tub and tiled in a nice big shower with sliding glass door. We put in beautiful white marble with speckled of gold, gray and black in the bath and the kitchen. The furniture is all outstanding and comfortable, we’re sure you’ll be right at home in your home away from home.

We are originally Salt Lake City, Utah, we have lived in Maui for 12 years now, just up the street in Kaanapali. We love Maui, and hope to stay here forever more. We have become active in the community. We belong to Lahaina Yacht club and participate in many activities benefitting the children (the Keiki) of Maui. We have been in the hospitality industry (we owned a large nightclub/sports bar) for more that 20 years and feel we know how to take care of peoples needs. We are very friendly people, and if time allows we could get together for a refreshment or two. Yes, many people from Salt Lake really do occasion a cocktail.

As you already know, we have been here for several years, we have looked into many different locations and found that the Honokawai area and particularly Paki Maui to be the best of all worlds. Paki Maui has beautiful grounds that are exceptionally well maintained. It is located adjacent to a beach park. It is central to the Islands West side and has so much to offer within walking distance or a short drive. We are surrounded by beaches, golf courses, famous restaurants, the farmers market. Downtown Lahaina is only a few miles away where nightlife, shops and galleries abound. Whalers village is just a hop skip and jump away. Stop to see the Whalers museum and learn all about whales. If you are in the mood to stay in and enjoy the sunset from your lanai or the beach you have pizza, local cuisine, fresh fish, super market, deli's or numerous other food establishment only a short walk away.
If you are looking for somewhere that has taken extra care for your bedding, towels, dishes, floors and baths, you want to stay with us. We even ask that you remove your shoes. We want more for our guests than the big companies offer. We are in Maui most of the time and live only about 5 minutes away. If we are not available we have back up people (two) that can come to your every beck and call. About 50% of Paki Maui is run by Castle Management, and they man the front desk. About 25 % are people like us, or those that have chosen other Property Managers, and the remainder of the Paki is owner occupied. You are free to consult the concierges’ desk in the front office, and they are happy to exchange bills for the quarters you might need for laundry. Other than that we run our 4 units by ourselves.
Our stay at Janet condo at paki Maui was the best she thought of every thing , the best room we have ever had there. On our next trip to Maui we will stay there again, thanks again for making our time in maui the best. Cindy& Dave.

We have stayed at Paki Maui for the last 4 years and are well aware of
the amenities it has to offer; first and foremost is it's close
proximity to the
ocean (about 50 feet away). We have appreciated its pool, hot tub, barbeque
grills, tables and chaise lounges. We also like that it is within walking
distance to a grocery store, farmers market and several restaurants. We have
stayed in two different units at Paki that were OK but nothing special, so we
decided to try VRBO to look for a unit that came closer to meeting our
expectations. ENTER Jannette! WOW, what an experience! I emailed her and
asked if we could tour her unit. We received an immediate response and
set up a
time to meet. Our initial response to meeting Jannette was that we had
for years. She was/is very friendly, outgoing and a genuinely nice
entering the unit, we were struck by its cleanliness, openness and modern
tasteful décor. We were so impressed that we decided to book "on the
spot" for this year (2015). Everything from that moment until we arrived
this year went extremely smooth!
We arrived this year with great anticipation and soon discovered many,
many other amenities that we failed to observe last year during our tour.
Everything we could possibly need was provided - from the soft and plentiful
towels, to the great smelling shower gel, to the step stool (for those
stature!) to climb into the extremely comfortable - and tall - king size bed
that had plenty of drawers/storage in the bed base. There were soft shades
covering the jalousie window in the bedroom that opened from the top
allowing for a nice breeze while still providing privacy. There were ceiling
fans in all the rooms to provide good air flow. We loved the pass code lock
(versus a key lock - we had locked ourselves out of our room last year). There
was very comfortable seating on the lanai where we had awesome views of sea
turtles and whales - which we watched up close thru the provided

Right from my first email with Jannette, it was like we old friends. She was awesome, everything was so organized, she sent extra info on things to do and see and places to eat.
Loved being on the 4th floor, no overhang above us, we sat out on the lanai for hours watching the whales jumping or just plain enjoying the view and the Hawaiian air.
It felt like home ... Hope to be back soon!
We completely enjoyed our stay at Paki Maui! The condo was the perfect size for two people. The view of the ocean was fantastic - it was so close it was almost like being on a boat! But without all the annoying rocking!
The bed was super comfortable. We met a lot of very nice people down at the bbqs cooking dinner each night.

My wife and I recently stayed here and had a very memorable experience. As you can see from the pictures the view from the lanai is pretty hard to beat as is the sound of the ocean. We saw turtles from the lanai pretty much everyday and swam with them a couple of times as well. The pool and grounds are well kept and we enjoyed the outdoor BBQs which were always clean. The kitchen is a little tight but it didn't hinder us cooking at all and we enjoyed many meals on the lanai. There is a great breeze that blows through the unit, but if you like to sleep cool then you might struggle in summer without A/C. The unit was in good condition and had many thoughtful features including beach chairs, coolers, iron etc. The location is great with a nearby coffee shop and farmers market / deli. Parking is plentiful and easy. We swam almost everyday out front between the 2 reefs where there was no rip at that time. Also close driving distance is Napili beach which was awesome. Overall is was a very special trip for us and we would return in the same season.
We love this condo, with fantastic view of the ocean. Clean and decorated well. Everything you can think of is available in the kitchen. Convenient laundry room. Quiet neighborhood, supermarket within walking distance. And plenty of parking outside. It is perfect for family with kids.
