This Eric Miller Designed home shines with hand-crafted details including hardwood floors and stone throughout and offers all the amenities you can imagine for an ideal Carmel Getaway. A short walk from the village of Carmel-by-the-Sea and Carmel Beach, in a quiet, family neighborhood, it features amenities that you usually find at luxury hotels; a stunning private garden with a secluded patio, as well as a spa, steam room and work out room.

Upon arrival you are welcomed by a charming walkway bordered by lush gardens, leading you to the ornate wrought iron door. The minute you enter the double high foyer, with its terracotta and iron details, you know you are somewhere special. The foyer opens to a well-appointed living room complete with a wood-burning fireplace. The dining area and kitchen are nearby with wrap-around windows that fill the rooms with light. The patio and garden are accessible from the Dining/Kitchen area and is a favorite spot for morning coffee and evening bar-b-q.

The hallway beyond the kitchen leads to three bedrooms. Two queen rooms with a shower bathroom and a Master Suite with king bed and en suite bathroom featuring double sinks and separate shower. The Master Suite has its own access to the patio area where the work-out room, spa and steam room await.

This amenity-packed dream home also features a complete media room with large format TV and comfy oversized seating. It also boasts a wet bar and state-of-the-art stereo system. A bathroom with shower is located adjacent to the Media Room.

SPECTACULAR!!!!

My husband and I along with another couple from Germany recently enjoyed a one week stay at Hatton House in Carmel, California. This experience far exceeded expectations. We were made to feel as though this lovely place was our home. The house was luxurious, welcoming, clean and extremely comfortable. The architecture, furniture, and décor could be in a magazine. There were fresh flowers on the tables, silverware, dishes, kitchen appliances, linens, etc from the finest stores. We could have spent the entire week in the beautiful garden. Our thanks to Katee, Dan, Ophelia and the gardeners along with the owners Martin and Sandra for making us feel so welcome. We have every intention of returning in the future.

Wonderful stay

Stayed in this lovely home at the end of January. The owner and property manager were most accommodating. The house is decorated with taste and style. A ten minute walk downhill into town and worth the walk back up after all the food and drink over the weekend. If you feel it's too long a walk, there is always Yellow Cab.

Retired Attorney and Political Consultant Give Hatton House Five Stars!

We rented the Hatton House for a wonderful family Christmas in Carmel, and it met all of our expectations and more. Our arrival began with a personal note and a nice bottle of wine from the owners, The Buttons. This property is even more amazing than the VRBO website pictures show. The gardens are beautiful and private, the Spanish interior is warm and welcoming, and the steam and exercise rooms are perfect for staying in shape. The owners' have a self-contained, private wing on the property, and it is done so well that we did not even know they were there for 2 of the days that we were in Carmel. This is a very exceptional property that The Buttons take a lot of pride in and this shows throughout the home. We highly recommend the Hatton House to anyone who wants a beautiful, relaxing retreat close to the ocean and the shops of Carmel.

This house is awesome. Everything was way beyond our expectations and the owners and support staff were fantastic. When our family was not taking advantage of the onsite fitness room, sauna, hot tub, and the well supported kitchen, we were on the go. The locals are friendly with just about something for everyone to enjoy locally. We enjoyed massages, took in some local entertainment, enjoyed great dinning, and of course multiple shopping opportunities. For anyone who enjoys surfing everyone we encountered seemed to be enjoying themselves. Of course Pebble Beach is right next door for those into golf. If you are a runner, or enjoy biking, there are miles of paved pathways a short distance away.
