Perfect island getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Coconut Cottage with friends, once at Christmas and once at Easter. Both vacations were phenomenal. The cottage itself is pristine, with brand new furniture and very tasteful decor. It's spacious and has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The location of the cottage is a one minute walk away from either the beach or pool, which I often had to myself whilst the others chose to try their luck with a fishing rod off the dock! The resort was so tranquil and peaceful, it's perfect if you want a quiet, undisturbed getaway from the hustle and bustle of real life. The sunsets are out of this world and on our second visit a restaurant opened in the next resort along, so that you can walk along the shoreline to enjoy a meal or just a drink at the bar. However, if you want to drive into Georgetown to eat there, that's very close too and easy to get to. There are places to visit, there is a small ferry from Georgetown to take you to Stocking Island, a great beach bar and restaurant, where you are guaranteed to see one of the friendly rays swimming in the water. Or you can just drive along the long coast line and find your own secluded beach - there are plenty! We loved it and hope to return there again this year.
