We are offering space in an active family's house, constructed at the end of World War II. There are two bedrooms (one large and one a bit smaller) and a recently renovated kitchen area and bathroom in this modern dwelling. There's a queen bed, a double bed and a comfy couch, all with fresh and clean linens. The bathroom is equipped with a shower (no tub) and is well-lit. Original artwork decorates the walls throughout. The kitchen contains a fridge with deep freeze, toaster, and coffee maker. There's a built-in eating counter in this area to dine at, with four stools. The living room easily seats several adults on a large modern couch and chair, and there's a TV and DVD player. We don't have cable here but a few channels come in clearly with just an antenna. Shared laundry facilities are located just outside the suite's private entrance and supplies are included. WiFi is also supplied.
Outside, there's a beautiful yard that guests are welcome to enjoy. The owners and their fairly loud small children live upstairs and can help with any questions you might have while in Calgary.
The suite was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. We found it to be a great size, the layout and access to the unit was good, and while yes, there was some noise from upstairs, it was not an inconvenience, especially since we were travelling with a small child.
The pictures don't really do the unit justice, we were very happy with it, and it was such good value. Having our own kitchen and access to the laundry was important, and Laurel even invited us to the community centre kids Christmas party, which was wonderful! We loved having the chance to build a snowman, have snowball fights, and our 4yo loved the visiting rabbits in the garden. Tobogganing at Shaganappi park probably has to be the highlight of our time in Calgary.
There are parks within easy walking distance (even in winter) and convenience stores are just a short walk. The c-train is about a 15 minute walk, buses are a little closer. The c-train will take you to westbrook mall just one stop west, into the city and the zoo, or south to Chinook Mall and Heritage Park if you change trains in the city.

I stayed here for two weeks with my partner and we both fell in love with the place.
The landlady was fantastic very welcoming and helpful but at the same time let us do our own thing. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you would ever need. In a lovely quiet area with a local bar and shop a few blocks away and the C-train. Only a further block. Excellent links to public transport. Two delightful little kids above us which we did not mind at all. And great laundry facilities. could not sing its praises enough. can't wait to go back!
We had a great stay. The suite was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make for a great week. The location is close to downtown and easy to get to. We will definitely return on our next trip to Calgary.
Entirely happy about my stay in Laurel's sweet abode where the smallest detail was thoughtfully in place. There were plenty of towels in the spotless and modern bathroom, lots of dishes, and extras such as dish detergent, saran wrap, salt and pepper (even Oregano for my roasted vegetables) and all manner of kitchen utensils. After my 10 day stay, I was able to pack my bags with clean laundry. Laurel invited me to use her washer and dryer and supplied me with a choice of laundry soaps and fabric softener sheets. My daughter and I enjoyed the decor as we ate at the solid, wide counter. After our home cooked meals we rested in the very comfortable living room area couch and arm chair. On sunny afternoons I loved sitting in Laurel's tree-filled garden space where I took pictures of the friendly rabbit who visited regularly. I was glad to be within walking distance of the Westbrooke Mall and the subway. I felt safe, cozy and welcomed by Laurel and thanked her for a great stay in my home away from home.
Great host, very nice place. Perfect size for four of us. Parking right outside on street. Great alternative to a hotel or hostel. A little bit of noise from kids upstairs in the mornings, but certainly not an issue for us. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks!
Of the two months we spent at this lovely apartment, we do not want to miss one day. We felt welcome and home right from the start. The apartment is nice and clean and furnished with a passion for detail. There is nothing to worry about as everything is there starting from kitchen supplies to detergent to nail polish remover. The landlady is great. She always got time for a chat or questions you might have. We connected with her right away. The apartment is perfectly located. It is close to stores, public transport and embedded in a lovely neighborhood. There is really nothing to complain about. We had such a wonderful time. Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again one day. We wish you all the best. Greetings from Germany.
This house is located just minutes from exciting downtown Calgary, in a quiet older residential neighborhood. It's about 12 minutes down to Calgary Stampede Park, 18 minutes from Canada Olympic Park, and only 10 minutes to the city's best walking/cycling paths and the beautiful Bow River.

CAN$ 75.00 per night based on double occupancy. Each extra person beyond the double occupancy (to a maximum of four guests total) is charged $20 per night. Some flexibility on the extra person rate is possible for multiple small children. We have a four night minimum stay policy.
Cleaning fees are $35 for stays under 5 days, $75 for stays 5 days or longer.
50% of total rental fee is due in advance via PayPal and the balance is due in cash upon arrival/check in (unless otherwise arranged).

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (CAD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
