Guesthouse, 1 bedroom + other (see description), 1 bathroom, sleeps (2-4)

Our comfortable and serene guesthouse overlooks Paradise Cove. French doors lead to private balconies (6'x25') both with ocean views. Zuma, Malibu, and Leo Carrillo (County Line) beaches are from 2 to 7 minute drive away. We are a short drive or a long walk from miles and miles of trails and hiking in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. Pepperdine University is 6 miles away, making this a perfect base for visiting the school.

The guesthouse is located upstairs, over a detached garage.It has a private entry, one bedroom with a new king-size bed (and luxury linens), a great room with 2 large couches, flat screen TV, internet, dining table and chairs. The full kitchen has all new stainless appliances and granite and is fully furnished and ready to go.

The bathroom is granite and tile, and there is also an outdoor shower for beach sand wash off. The large couches in the living room can sleep either two children, or anyone under 5'5' comfortably. Apple TV box in living room allows you to rent movies etc on your iTune account.

This guest house is located 3 blocks north of PCH, overlooking Paradise Cove. It is 2 miles east of Zuma Beach, and 7 miles west of Malibu Beach and Pier. Walking distance to miles and miles of trails throughout the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains parkland for hiking, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Six miles from Pepperdine University, it makes a great base for visiting students or parents. With enough notice, we may be able to assist in setting up a private chef, cooking lessons, surf lessons, or horseback riding.

Notes: We have a few boogie boards and some volleyballs, and can probably set up surf lessons at local beaches. We have copies of local trail maps, and recommendations as to local sights and restaurants.

Great guesthouse in Malibu. Stayed for four nights in mid November. Beautiful views from balconies. Property very spacious, clean, and well maintained. Kitchen well equipped. Close to lots of excellent hiking--Ocean Vista trail in Leo Carrillo State Park, Escondido Falls, Point Dume. Would recommend this property for anyone visiting the Malibu area.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, close to beaches and LA but very relaxing and private. The entire unit was clean and comfortable and nicer than the photos show. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning looking at the ocean. The owners were excellent hosts, providing beach toys, chairs, towels, etc. and always available if we had any questions. We will definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
