Clean, cute and functional on a budget!

A vacation should include good times, new adventures and meeting friendly people. While staying at The Windflower in Placencia, Belize, we experienced all of these. The apartment we stayed in was clean, cute and functional on the ground level. If we needed anything, we didn't hesitate to ask Don for it; a kitchen utensil, a run to the store for beer, or a forgotten food item. Our adventures included scuba diving with Avadon Adventures to the Blue Hole, Whale-sharks etc. which no doubt added to our good times, but Don (owner of the Windflower) and his gal-pal Sharon added to our entertainment and enjoyment. Friendly and fun, they made us feel welcome from the moment we met them. A couple of evenings were spent with them playing board games and I'm sure that their neighbours on the canal were wondering what all the hooting, hollering and laughter was about. We returned home from Belize with fond memories of our good times which included two new friends Sharon and Don. We would highly recommend The Windflower for those that need a vacation on a budget, and insist on the apartment being clean with a comfortable bed. Thanks Don and Sharon from your new Canadian friends, Albert and Brenda.
