3 bedrooms + sleeping loft, 4 full bathrooms, 1 half bathroom, sleeps 8-10.

This home is centrally located just off of Hwy 105 in the gated community of Twin Rivers, between Boone and Banner Elk, and only 20 min from Blowing Rock. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature from one of the many covered porches or extensive decks, nestled amongst the trees of this private setting. Relax in the hot tub while enjoying the beautiful mountain view. Enjoy walking along the Watauga River, just steps from the front yard. Hike along the Boone Fork on the neighborhood's groomed trails which connect to the Julian Price Park trail system.

Get away from it all while still enjoying all of the modern conveniences, including wireless internet, satellite tv with dvr and a custom indoor/outdoor sound system . The well equipped kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a gas range and double oven, granite countertops and a prep sink on the spacious island. The dining table seats 6, with the island accommodating an addiitional 5, or enjoy your meal at one of the outdoor dining tables.

The master suite, located on the main floor, has a king size bed and large screen tv. The adjacent bathroom has a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, double vanity, and secluded water closet. Two more bedrooms are located on the top floor in addition to a sleeping loft.

The den with vaulted, beamed ceilings, and rock fireplace has comfortable leather seating for 8-10. The loft has additional seating. Enjoy a game of pool or darts in the gameroom on the basement level. The gameroom has two french doors which open to covered porch areas, a widescreen tv, rock fireplace with gas logs, seating area, small refrigerator and an adjacent full bath.

Beautiful

We came up for Christmas & loved every minute of it. The house is beautiful & perfect for a family vacation/getaway. The owners were extremely nice, even taking the time to mail a few items we accidentally left behind. If we ever decide to come back to North Carolina, we know where we're staying.

We can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at High Country Haven. The owners were a pleasure to work with. We were made to feel so welcome in this beautifully decorated log home with so many amenities. It was a pleasure to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the fabulous kitchen. The location is wonderful - secluded yet very convenient to stores, restaurants and hiking. Our family will always cherish the memories of our holiday in the mountains. We look forward to returning to High Country Haven!

Wonderful vacation destination!

There are absolutely no negatives to be said about our stay. The home is beautiful, the furnishings perfect, well thought out floor plan............I could ramble for hours. We had some great friends from New York come and stay with us and we were all full of praise. The homes are spaced so far apart you feel the mountain side is yours. The hot tub on the deck is placed with a perfect view of opposing mountainsides. Everything is here for anyone to just show up, relax, and not worry about a thing. Downtown Boone is close enough to visit but far enough to feel that you are away from everyone. The owners make what is already perfect even better. Super helpful and very responsive. Give this place a whirl and you will definitely not be anything but satisfied and relaxed! 5 stars may not be enough in my opinion.

My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary here and my only complaint is that we could only stay two nights. The home is absolutely beautiful, exactly as pictured. It would easily accommodate large groups but was cozy enough for just the two of us. We enjoyed playing pool and soaking in the hot tub after our hikes. (We even got up early one morning to watch the sunrise from the hot tub!) I was a little nervous about being in a gated community but the house was surprisingly quiet and private. We felt like we were miles away from everyone but yet we could get to towns and restaurants and hiking trails quickly. The location could not have been any better. Carmie, the owner, communicated with us frequently and was easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
