LUXURY 2 BEDROOM OCEAN VIEW AT THE BEACH VILLAS IN KOOLINA

This particular unit is in the building furthest from the ocean but you are actually facing the ocean and overlooking the pool. Other units say they have an ocean view but all you see is the neighbor across the way and the pool, unless you are actually out on the lanai itself. In our unit, you had the entire expanse of the wall opening to the lanai looking out to the ocean as soon as you come out of your bedroom into the living area.
It was the most beautiful thing to be greeted by that view every day. I don't think we ever closed the wall partitions, even to sleep. Having that connection with the view and the tradewinds is PRICELESS.
The open floor plan was so spacious. The kitchen was delightful to cook in. We had at least one home-cooked meal every single day. Costco, Target, and a grocery store that caters to organic products was a 7 min drive away, as well as many other stores.
Every morning we took a morning walk all along the four lagoons.
Any question I had for our hosts was answered within minutes of my texting her.
I love my bed at home and usually miss it when I travel but this bed was delicious.
Our sons (11 and 14) slept on the couch which conforms to an extremely roomy bed. I was jealous because they had such a comfortable bed AND were the FIRST to see that beautiful view each morning.
We had never stayed on this part of the island before, and were a little surprised at how dry the landscape looked on our way to Ko' olina but once you arrived to Ko'olina it was a beautiful little oasis with the advantage of having the nicest weather on the island when other areas were getting rain.
I look forward to staying there again in the future!
