Breathtaking views of Lake Buchanan overlooking 10 beautiful terraced acres that descend on 1000 feet of frontage at the waters edge, covered patio, picnic area and a jetty. Relax on the grounds or enjoy the view and visiting with friends on one of the deck s of the 7000 square foot main house' which also offers large living and dining areas. The main house also offers a gourmet kitchen and 7 large bedrooms and 1 super large owners suite. Seven of the eight bedrooms in the main have double french doors which open onto a patio or deck. There are two additional houses on the property each with one bedroom and a full kitchen. One house has a large game/billiards room which is for use by guests in the main house.
About owner/ manager

We live in Austin, Texas We have always loved beautiful properties with great views. When we first saw this property we believed it had one of the most incredible views around plus the benefit of being on the lake. The property was in rough shape, so we have spent the last 3 years restoring it.

Why owner/ manager chose Lake Buchanan

The main house and apartments sit on a hill overlooking the lake and the grounds. There is a gentle tiered walk down to the lake frontage where you are greeted with stone patios, walkways and a picnic area. The property has a huge jetty tha extends into the lake and when lake levels are up you can fish off of it.

What makes this villa unique

The property can easily handle groups and family reunions. There are many areas on the property where you can get together as a group or walk around for privacy. We only lease this property one group at a time, so the whole 10 acres is devoted to your group.

Gorgeous property, committed owner

I don't know what impressed me more - the property which is exceptional, clean and huge. Or the owner who was very supportive, prompt and professional. It takes a special kind of commitment to respond to emails within 30 minutes at 10:00 pm, which the owner regularly did.

The property is huge. Our party had 10 families, and the 10 bedrooms worked really well. The kitchen and dining areas are massive. Plenty of room for outdoor activities. We were fortunate to have some exceptional weather during our stay.

We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Hirt Family Reunion

This is a wonderful home for a large group of people. We had four generations of our family stay for the weekend and it was perfect. We never felt we ran out of room, and everyone was able to visit while the kids ran around playing. Thank you so much to Marsanna the owner, she goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable and is so accomadating. Every member of my family raved about what a perfect place this home was for our get together. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is big enough for anyone to come join in cooking that wanted to. Every room has it's own heating/AC control so you can set it to your own individual preference. It was nice to have the extra house with the pool table to get away to and the extra kitchen and fridge was very helpful. Thank you again for giving my family an experience of a lifetime. Hope to see you for many more years!

Perfect Family Christmas house

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate Christmas. The layout of the main house allows for a large group to gather, but still have privacy when needed. We loved singing carols on the patio, roasting marshmallows at the fire pit, sharing dinners in the large dining area, watching football in the den area, hanging ornaments on the enormous, beautiful tree in the living area, taking pictures on the gorgeous stairway, enjoying a "talent show" in the living area, cooking together in the large, well-appointed kitchen, playing pool in the smaller house, playing frisbee in the large yard and playing games throughout the living areas. The beds were very comfortable. The house was very well maintained. The views were fantastic. Loved the tamales from Tamale King. The description of the home was spot on. The pictures are true to accomodations. The owner is very sweet and was easy to work with. We highly recommend it, and we hope to return for other family gatherings...especially for Christmas!

Amazing!!!

What a beautiful home! Our church staff, just got back from our annual staff retreat and it was a absolute blessing to be able to spend a few days at this house. The description online does not do justice to the beauty that is found in and outside of the home. The view is breath-taking! I encourage you to make time to catch a sunset out on the pier! The space provided the rest, relaxation and time we needed to be able to prayerfully dream forward as we planned our 2013 calendar. The owner was wonderful to work with and we will definitely be back next year!!

Absolutely Beautiful!!!

Our church group had a couples retreat here and it was the perfect place for us because each couple had their own room and private bathroom. The views are AMAZING and there is so much land that we could go walking through the grounds and appreciate nature. This is the perfect place to unplug and just relax. The house is well equipped with extra linens, towels, pillows...it was like a little hotel all to ourselves and the outdoors was like heaven on earth. This place was exactly what we needed and it was well worth our 4 hour drive…and that’s a long trip for us... but we'll be back next year! :)
