Great Rental for 10 People

The Lime Tree Cabana was great. It was exactly what our two families was looking for in our Charleston vacation. We were a block from the beach (a quick minute walk) and had a heated pool in the backyard. With ten people (4 adults and 6 kids) we had enough beds and space. As far as anything you need in the kitchen (save food, beverages, and spices) anything you need is in the cabinets. We did have a couple of maintenance issues, but this comment isn’t about the issues, we all have them in our own homes and know how they randomly pop-up in life - it’s about how quickly and efficiently Exclusive Properties helped solve the issues.

I highly recommend Exclusive Properties. We had a certain budget in mind, but didn’t want to eliminate the closeness to the beach and a pool. They worked with me and we had the best house for our vacation.

Best Birthday Present ever!!!

I rented this for my husbands 50th birthday week... and it was a present that we all will cherish forever..

We invited his brother and his brothers fiancè, His mom and dad, and our 2 teenagers.. and Every age group absolutely loved the place and loved me for renting it. Each room had their own bath which is a major plus. We had a great family time but the place was large enough to have a private moment too. The location was great... We walked the beach daily, played sand volley ball at Windjammers just down the beach, we visited downtown Charleston several nights, attended a comedy mystery dinner, we explored a plantation.. It was just fabulous!!! I would definitely recommend this comfy home!!!!

A little deceiving

We had some issues with the home. The sliding door in the master bathroom upstairs kept sliding out of place. To be honest, the tub looked a little rough. I know that is easy to fix and cosmetic. Also, the downstairs stand-up shower was very difficult to turn off. It seems as though the knob was not working correctly and it would get jammed. The lighting throughout the downstairs was very dim. There was not much lighting in the living space. Also, in the middle of the night the fire alarm went off. We got up to check to see if something was wrong and couldn't find any sign of a fire. It was very odd and I would check the smoke detectors. We did not like the check-in and check-out times at all. I know that you need plenty of time to clean a home to get it ready for the next family, but in the past I have rented 4 other homes on the island and check-in would be 3 and the check-out would be either 10 or 11. The location was great and we loved the back yard with the pool and cabana. We grilled out several times in the week.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your response. We are looking into putting french doors where the sliding doors are. The check in and out time is to maintain the integrate of our cleaning standards. We do however work with people in that we tell them they can call us and if we are down they are welcome to come in. The fire alarms are all hard wired in. family get-together

The house looks exactly like the pictures. It was perfect for a family with the 4 bedrooms. Loved the fact that there were enough bathrooms as the first floor bedroom shared their bathroom with the rest of the house. It was clean and well maintained. The hot water faucet was not on in the kitchen hence no dishwasher either for Sat and Mother's Day, however a handyman did come out on Monday to fix it. Apparently the faucet was new and when installed they did not turn the hot water back on. Had I turned the lever myself it would have been fixed in two seconds but did not want to mess with anything as it was not my house. For once the fridge was cold and I will admit the fridge in the cabana did freeze our pop but did not look at the setting before I put some items in there. Gas grill was a plus. Internet was strong and worked perfectly. Pool man came and cleaned the pool. If my dogs had been in the yard they would have been gone, but thankfully they were inside when he showed up. Perhaps I would suggest that any people servicing the yard and or pol, knock on the door to see if there are dogs etc that could go out the garage door once opened. My two dogs loved the fenced in yard. It was perfect for our vacation. Looking to book there maybe next year too.
