We provide a nice selection of coffee table gardening books to inspire your own garden projects. An inviting outdoor court in the center of the Gardens is set aside for morning coffee or a late night conversation. Off street parking is provided.

Marc-James Mews is a quiet building surrounded by an extensive container garden inspired by the English Town Garden. The grounds, known as Neal's Gardens, is comprised of a collection of containers, plantings and iron art by two noted metal artists, Mary Taylor and Thor Myhre, as well as fine traditional garden art, and several quiet sitting areas.
Marc-James Mews is centrally located in the Happy Valley district of Bellingham next to Fairhaven Village. Close to I-5 and Fairhaven Parkway and Chuckanut Drive for easy access. Situated near the Connelly Creek Walking Trail that connects to the interurban trail in South Bellingham. Joe's Gardens, a seasonal inter-urban vegetable garden, us minutes away. Western Washington University and the Sehome Arboretum are just a few blocks away. We are a few blocks from the Alaska Ferry Terminal, AmTrac and Greyhound at the Fairhaven Marina, Taylor Street Dock and the Boulevard Greenways Trail to Downtown Bellingham. Just 10 miles to Bellingham International Airport.
Fairhaven and Bellingham abound with a number of independently owned nurseries and flower shops, quality new and used book stores, great restaurants, cafes, bakeries, pubs and fine restaurants. Bellingham has an annual Festival of Music associated with the University. There are a number of cinema houses close by as well as several live theaters including the Mt. Baker in Downtown Bellingham. There are a number of wonderful lakes and parks close by including Lake Whatcom, Lake Samish, Whatcom Falls Park and Lake Padden, Larrabee State Park and Chuckanut Ridge. Lummi Island is close by with easy access by car ferry just minutes north of Bellingham. A seasonal Farmer's Market as well as many smaller, independent markets are available. Canada is to the North of us, Mt. Baker Ski Area is to the East, Lummi Island, the San Juans and the Bay are to the West and La Connor and Annacortes are to the South with access to Victoria B.C.
