Rent our charming house for a getaway in Austin, including the F1 race or SXSW.

Constructed in 2011, our house is new and lovely. It's a 20-minute walk to all of downtown Austin’s amenities, and an easy stroll to dozens of live music venues, restaurants, and other attractions on Austin’s east side. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, about 1450 square feet. The house is in a residential neighborhood with many families in Austin’s historic and diverse east side.

For F1 race: Since our house is in East Austin, just off East 7th Street, it’s an ideal location for both proximity to downtown and for a quick trip to the Circuit of the Americas (site of the race).

For SXSW: Literally hundreds of official and unofficial SXSW music shows take place in East Austin, within blocks of this location.

• Roomy living room; modern kitchen; nice master bath with big tub

• Master bedroom is cozy & quiet, with queen-size bed

• Fast wireless; TV with Netflix & DVD player; washer & dryer

• Kids’ bedroom has a twin-size bed

• Living room has a full-size futon that’s surprisingly comfortable for sleeping

• 15-minute walk to pleasant hike-and-bike trail along Lady Bird Lake

• Back deck with nice vibe at sunset

• Absolutely no smoking inside

Because this is our home and not a year-round vacation rental, references are required.
