This property is located just one minute to downtown Winter Park where you can enjoy World Class downhill skiing and snow boarding at the Winter Park/Mary Jane Ski Resort. If you prefer Nordic skiing or snow shoeing, just strap on your gear and step out your front door to the meadow opposite our home.
Our beautiful single family home is located on the bike trail that goes through downtown Winter Park so you and your family can easily and safely ride into town, to dinner, to the new Recreation Center and the brand new cinema and bowling alley! We have stocked trout ponds close-by too, so you and the kids can have fun fishing.
Our beautifully maintained and appointed home features a private hot tub, attached and oversized 2 car heated garage, lovely stone fireplace, and hardwood flooring. The home is thoughtfully crafted and laid out to accommodate families and friends traveling together, and provides all the creature comforts you would wish for in your vacation home.
The main level boasts extensive hardwood and natural stone flooring, a large family area and dining room and gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless appliances, breakfast bar, and work desk. We also provide all the essentials and 'extras' so cooking-in is a treat! We have stocked the kitchen the way we would like to have cooked in the many vacation homes we rented over the years. We have a crock pot so your meal is ready as soon as you're off the mountain, a coffee pot, waffle maker, and a pancake griddle so you can save money by making good, delicious home-cooked meals! We even have spices so you don't have to buy them or bring them from home.
Adjacent to the dining room is a 'study' with television and foldout sofa-sleeper for additional guests, or individuals who have a hard time with stairs. A beautifully appointed full bathroom, and walk-in pantry complete the main floor.
The second level features a beautiful master suite with king-size bed, large walk-in closet, and full private bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms, each with queen bedrooms, that share a full bath in the hall. Full size washer and dryer complete the upper level.
The bonus room above the garage is set-up with a king sized bed, pull out sofa sleeper, and we can provide a full size air mattress for your group if this is needed. There is a TON of space in this area with a flat-screen TV and we also have a Wii System with a handful of games for kids and kids-at-heart to enjoy! Full bath as well!
The home is equipped with Wi-Fi (bring your laptop), cable TV, and local phone service. Additionally, we have a games for your family to enjoy, poker chips, and cards.
We have stocked the home with nice towels (none of the flimsy, cheap, smells-like bleach options you find at other homes). We have separate towels for the hot tub which is great after a day in the outdoors! We appreciate quality, and know that you will too!
There are so many 'things' to do in Grand County year-round (winter sports, ice-skating, boating, fishing, biking, snowmobiling, etc). If we can help make recommendations or point you in the right direction, please don't hesitate to ask. There are some great restaurants in town too, we're happy to recommend in the welcome package you will receive.
