Cottage, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

This is the place to come to get away from everything, to relax and re-fill your spirit! You can just sit & enjoy watching the water & wildlife from the windowed water-side or on the full deck across the back. The sunsets cannot be beat! Everything turns orange & pink as the sun goes down over the water...breath-taking!

Fishing is always fun here in the sound or the ocean. Bring your own boat to access the water at the wildlife ramp less than 1 mile away & then tie or anchor in the water in front of this home for the week. Enjoy bringing your canoe, kayak, windsurf, sail, surfboard jet ski or other water fun activities.

You can catch a ride to Shackleford Banks to look for the wild ponies that make their home in this uninhabited island Or just explore the island and see very few people all day long.

Or take a ferry ride to Cape Lookout Island to see the lighthouse, more nature and a short walk to the ocean side to hunt for conch shell & other beautiful shells.

Top-notch dining is just a short drive to Beaufort or Morehead City. Family dining is very close at Harker's Island.

Take your own boat to Beaufort or Morehead City water-front for dining & shopping or just walking to enjoy other boats or the museums & ghost tours.

Wonderful place to stay active or just relax...Best part is you can choose how much or how little you want to do each day....so come on down and enjoy all our North Carolina Coast has to offer her at Sunset Bay!

About The Owner

We are North Carolina natives living in Greensboro. We love the NC coast and mountains and hope you enjoy this paradise as well.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 2006

This is the perfect place to get away from it all and to reconnect to nature! Still with lots of activities close by for you and your children.

What makes this cottage unique

Sunsets are incredible, water is warm most months, fishing is always great, wildlife abounds...dining is top-notch close by.
