Relax in the privacy of your classic 1930's beach cottage. Located on Pleasant Beach, Bainbridge Island's best no-bank, sandy beach. After looking at real estate for two years we found the cottages. We love the location, warm in the summer protected from the northern winds. We like being able to walk 1 block to the movie theatre, grocery store, bakery/deli, morning latte and 3 restaurants. Our favorite activities include hiking and biking from the cottages.
The cottages are so close to Seattle, a 35 minute ferry ride, but a world apart. Step back in time to your own classic cottages!
We were the first family to stay in this endearing home when it came on the rental market. The view of Puget Sound was phenomenal. While there we spotted a bald eagle, a seal, water fowl and dozens of small birds. The home is well equipped, allowing us to prepare most of our meals on-site to be enjoyed overlooking the waterfront. It was peaceful and quiet, with outstanding beds for a good night's sleep. It was conveniently located, a very short walk from an outstanding bakery and other little eateries. The location near Ft. Ward Park also gave us a great place to take morning walks. We would be happy to return for a visit. Next time we'll rent a kayak for paddling around the quiet cove.

Loved our stay at this relaxing cottage. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with nice cookware which paired with the great farmers market on the island was a great combo and you can't beat the view! Very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.
My husband and I were so thrilled to walk into the most charming cottage when we entered for our visit on Bainbridge Island. Every single detail has been thoughtfully planned, from the cold bottle of San Pellegrino waiting for us in the fridge to the lovely bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table. We loved every nook and corner and felt so comfortably at home that we needed to remind ourselves that it wasn't ours when we had to leave. Thank you for creating such a cozy, inviting, and magazine ready haven.
We plan on returning again and again.
This is a charming little cottage. Well decorated. It actually has down comforters and pillows and we enjoyed watching the tide come in and out. Loved the hammock too!
Lots of little shops to brows in and some nice restaurants to choose from. The ferry is a pain in the neck! Although it's fun to ride on and the scenery is beautiful but you have to plan your going and coming from seattle very carefully or you'l be sitting in line forever!
The house is wonderful if you are just looking for some peace in a lovely spot.
We had a calm, restful adventure at this lovely beach house. It was our first experience with VRBO but it won't be our last. The place is very much like staying at a friend's home. Warm, welcoming and cared for. It was perfect to have our kids from Boston and Montreal fly in and stay with us here. Thank you.
The home was perfect for our family trip to Bainbridge Island. The home was clean and well kept. It was fully stocked with supplies which made our trip smooth. There was a large backyard with grass for our boys (2.5 and 4 yrs old) to play. The house even came stocked with backyard toys, kid's movies, and kid's books! The hubby and I enjoyed relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view while our boys ran around and played in the yard. It was a perfect vacation. Thank you!
This little jaunt from MN to WA turned out perfectly due to the convenience of the location of this little gem. We flew to Seattle; took the train to the city; walked 4 blocks from the train to the Ferry; Ferry to Bainbridge Island and cabbed it 6 miles to this wonderful getaway. The listing description is accurate; photos true; very clean and well-maintained; owner was very helpful with my many questions, emails, and phone calls. I would recommend this to everyone! Restaurant and bakery walking distance away. I almost hate to give this kind of review because I want to be able to book it again and again!
