From this house you are sure to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the afternoon, and unhindered view of beautiful hills of Santa Martha that surround the bay. From which ever angle you look, a beautiful view is guaranteed.

This cozy waterfront retreat is located on the southwestern side of the island. Very close to beautiful white sandy beaches. Within 15 minutes drive is Christofell Park, a protected wildlife preserve and garden covering 4,500 acres of land. It features great hiking, mountain biking, car tours and nature walks.

This location can be best described as serene and secluded. It's best suited for people who enjoy a quiet and laid back atmosphere. It's ideal for example for couples seeking a romantic retreat, people who need a quite place for inspiration and privacy.

I had a great stay in Lucy's Cottage; my stay was from Aug 29th thru Sept 5th. If you are looking for a place that is very secluded, quiet and serene then Lucy's cottage is the place for you. If you have a big group or plan on hosting a get together, there is a front patio with chairs, table and sofa and the rear patio has beach chairs, a grill and patio dining set, and the driveway can fit 3 cars. In the morning, the weather is perfect for breakfast outdoors and at night the moon lit bay is breathtaking and the winds are perfect. If you are visiting from the States, no worries about missing the Today show or Jimmy Kimmel as Dish network is available and so is wireless internet. There is a local grocery store about 8 miles away and they have everything you need to stay comfortably.

I would recommend you have a rental car if you decide to stay here. Three of Curacao's best beaches, Cas Abou, Playa Marie, and Westpunt, are located within a 10 mile drive. Downtown Willemstad is located about 18 miles outside of Willemstad and its about 15 miles to the airport. I would recommend you have a rental car if you decide to stay here.

Points of interest include the downtown Willemstad, the Ostrich farm, Cas Abou Beach, Playa Marie Beach, Westpunt Beach Jan Thiel Beach, Mambo Beach (clubbing on the beach), Renaissance Casino (if you like gambling), Jaanchie's Restaurant in Westpunt (try the Iguana).

The most amazing view

We visited Lucy's Cottage in January with my husband and two children. My children LOVED the house. Lucy's Cottage has truly the most beautiful view we have ever seen, on the right you have a great view above the lagoon and on your left you have views above the Caribbean sea, each morning we sat on the balcony eat breakfast with this million dollar view in front of us. Now we are in cold europe we really miss Lucy's. This house has all the comfort you need, if you are looking for rest and relaxation, beautiful nature and want to be close to the beach lucy's is definately a perfect pick. Greetings from cold Germany’
