LOVED IT!
We searched several web sites for condo rentals as we planned our visit to Galveston. I didn’t want just anything that was available. I’ll admit, I’m picky, and as an artist I want my surroundings to be calming, relaxing, but yet inspiring. When I viewed the pictures of Melissa’s condo I knew it was the perfect place and I couldn’t have ended up being more pleased! It slept six quite comfortably. The 4 inch memory foam mattress pad in the bedroom (and pillows) were heavenly. Two adults and a toddler shared the queen size sofa bed with no complaints. And my teenage nephew loved the privacy of the twin size, curtained bunk in the hallway. Although we enjoyed the beach, the option of two pools (one heated ) was definitely a feature that we found quite appealing, along with the near by coin operated laundry …so you’ll need quarters; $1.25 per wash and $1.25 per dry.
We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach, right across the street, and joking around and eating simple breakfasts’ together on the balcony as we planned our daily events. A cooler packed with sandwiches and snacks from our frig helped sustain us as we explored the island during the day. You have your choice of a wide variety of places to eat an evening meal before returning to the condo for an evening swim.
We can’t wait to return and would definitely stay here again!
