Great Vacation!

This was not the first trip to Disney for my family (5 of us total), but it was our first time to stay off Disney property and we were a little nervous. Our stay here erased all of those doubts, and I don't think we'll ever stay on-property again.
The townhome is large, clean, new and well-appointed. The full kitchen was stocked with all the dishes we needed and a dishwasher, too. The washer and dryer allowed us to pack light and return home without a suitcase full of dirty laundry. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were clean. While at the townhome, there was cable TV, wireless internet, a private pool and a handful of games for the kids. At the clubhouse, there were additional pools, a hot tub and an exercise room.
Of course, we didn't go to Orlando to hang out in our room. The drive from the airport was not bad, but bring some change for the toll roads. The drive to the parks was simple, and parking in general was not bad. Disney charges $14 per day to park, which by Disney standards is cheap. Disney does a good job getting people in and out of their parking lots, so this part was easier than expected. On the road between the townhome and Disney, there are several familiar restaurants, as well as grocery stores and a Target. This gave us plenty of dining options when we weren't eating with Mickey.
When compared to staying on Disney property, this offers an exceptional value. But, even more importantly, it gave us a place that felt like home while we were on vacation. There was more than enough room for our entire family (we could easily have brought some grandparents along) and it gave us some time to unwind after the kids were in bed.
We definitely plan to stay here for our next trip and would recommend it without hesitation.
