The Lake House is a modern, spacious and beautifully furnished 3 BR villa. Located beside one of the lakes in the gated Samaan Grove development, it is ideally centrally located. Everywhere is within 10 minutes drive - the airport, Scarborough, popular beaches like Store Bay, Pigeon Point, Mt. Irvine Bay and No Man’s Land beach, fast food outlets, local restaurants specializing in local foods, fine dining restaurants, and supermarkets.

The property is beautifully maintained, quiet and peaceful, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their stay with no concerns about their privacy or security. On entering the villa, you will immediately appreciate the quality of the design, construction, and finishes, and the striking and contemporary decor. The unique lakeside location allows you enjoy a totally serene and restful environment as you relax on the porch or the pool deck. The open plan design allows easy flows from the Kitchen and Great Room through large doorways to the porch and the pool deck and pool. No detail has been overlooked for your comfort, relaxation and enjoyment.

The Lake House is uniquely positioned alongside one of the lakes in the Samaan Grove development, allowing guests to enjoy the serene waterside atmosphere and scenery. Nature lovers will enjoy seeing the local bird life around the lake as they feed and play in and around the water. As the lake's water is not stagnant and the lake is full of fish, there is never a mosquito problem due to the proximity to the lake.

Every modern convenience is provided in the villa - the Great Room is air-conditioned as well as the bedrooms, and there are ceiling fans everywhere when natural comfort is desired. The high-end kitchen boasts granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances include side/side fridge with ice maker, smooth top electric range, combination range hood/microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen island and eating bar with bar stools facilitate drinks, snacks and casual meals while staying at the center of activities. Of course, a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are provided for your laundry convenience.

The pool, pool deck and porch all look out onto the lake, which provides a wonderful ambiance for kicking back and relaxing, while the pool and pool deck allows the energetic ones to enjoy their water activities. The pool's maximum 4 1/2' depth makes it safe for children and non-swimmers alike. A large gas barbeque grill encourages outdoor cooking and al fresco dining on the porch or pool deck. Entertainment options include DirecTV satellite TV service with a 46” flat screen TV together with Blu Ray DVD player and Home Theater System in the Great Room. Free WiFi internet access is provided. The Master Bedroom also has a flat screen TV so Mom & Dad can enjoy their own favorite TV shows in privacy. The Lake House is centrally located off Golden Grove Road in Canaan in the heart of South West Tobago, within 10 minutes drive to all the popular beaches and a wide range of eating places ranging from fast food to fine dining. Leisure activities available nearby range from bicycle rentals, swimming, snorkeling, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, reef tours, deep sea and on-shore fishing, and sailing. Less than 8 minutes drive away, golfers have a choice of the Mt Irvine Golf Course or the Tobago Plantations Golf Course. Popular supermarkets Pennysavers and RT Morshead are just a few minutes drive away, while Canaan Food Basket is just around the corner on Milford Road, making it ideal for a quick run to stock up on fruit, vegetables and beverages. A significant bonus for guests is exclusive land side access to the well-known No Man's Land beach, which is very popular with locals in the know and tour operators. Dramatically positioned at the end of a narrow spit of land and flanked by the Buccoo Lagoon to the south and the Caribbean sea and the Buccoo Reef to the north, the beach is sheltered by the Buccoo Reef offshore.
