Your studio is on the 1st floor of a comfortable property in the Rue Saint Roch where half a century ago there was an old hotel. You are in one of the most sought after districts of Paris: that of the fashion week, the grand palaces, the Louvre, the Seine and the Place Vendôme; all a few dozen steps from the Jardin des Tuileries.
Access to the building is through two secure doors (code + key). You can go up to the 1st floor by lift and the studio is at the end of the corridor.
It is easy to live here, totally renovated, bright with its 2 windows facing onto the street. The oak parquet floor has been retained and restored, giving much heat and soul to the room, just like the pretty beige curtains. The large living room is cleverly arranged, the space being perfectly exploited; on one side a double bed (queen bed size) with 2 bedside tables and lamps and on the other side, a reading corner with two comfortable armchairs, a coffee table and a television with cable channels and DVD player.
A small kitchen opening onto the main room allows you to take your breakfasts and main meals sat on stools around the high table. This kitchen has a fridge, two electric hobs (USA: burners), a grill microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle and cooking implements.
The bathroom in slate and with white tiles is very practical with a shower cubicle, a sink, WC and electric heated towel rail. On entering on the left you will find a large wardrobe to store your clothes and suitcases.
Finally, the view out of the windows to the left allows you to admire the gates of one of the most beautiful gardens of Paris: that of the Tuileries!!!
