COURTENAY BEACH HOUSE - PERFECT WATERFRONT VACATION

Stayed three nights for our annual girlfriends' weekend -- the four of us totally enjoyed this top-notch accommodation with unobstructed views of the ocean. The house is in excellent condition (like new in a west coast style with large windows, and wood finishing), and is tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings, quality linens, and a fully-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the 6-person hot tub and separate rec room to watch movies.

While the house itself is quite private, the location is very convenient to local services and attractions: 5 minute drive to local mall; about 15 mintues to the Comox airport, and an easy drive to Cumberland for walks/hiking, small stores and a neat new restaurant (Mars on Main). Coombs is further but also a worthwhile trip for unique shopping (local and imported arts & crafts; deli/market with incredible selection of imported food items).

Rental arrangements were very easy to make with Wayne, the owner -- he and the local contact (for home entry, etc.) were very helpful regarding the property and local attractions.

Overall, an excellent choice for a vacation rental! Highly recommended!

With it's spacious living quarters and large private yard, this nicely decorated and cozy house was the perfect get-away for our family this Thanksgiving. The huge deck, hot tub and games room with bar, made it a great choice for a fun gathering or relaxing time. We thoroughly enjoyed the campfires at the beach, the great views from nearly everywhere in the house, and the comfy beds which made for a good nights rest. I can hardly imagine another house having more amenities than this one.
I'll be back for a girls getaway!

Our family had a terrific vacation in the Comox Valley due in no small measure to this beautiful home. Wayne & Susan's enthusiasm had our expectations at a high level before arriving - and the home still managed to exceed them! They have done an excellent job of updating the house with lots of amenities and extra touches throughout ... so many activity options were provided that it was hard not to be impressed. The views are outstanding, the weather terrific, the proximity to town perfect and the area recreation options extensive. We certainly hope to come back for a future visit.
