This is a long term yearly rental. No short term rentals, except for summer season (June through Aug) are available. Located in storied Dutchess County, New York; the epicenter of Fox Hunting. Amongst a backdrop of vineyards and rolling hills in the bucolic town of Millbrook, New York.

Famed as an early settlement area in the New World and now renowned throughout the East Coast, this Hudson Valley setting has become an epicurean center for fine style living.

We offer for rent a beautifully located true country style gatehouse on a private farm estate. Composed of two bedrooms, one bath, eat-in kitchen, dining room and living room with fireplace.

Amities include:

A private lake, miles of horse trails for either hiking or riding. A remarkable natural environment which includes access (on the property) to a class 1 Marsh. This is replete with board walks for viewing Beaver Dams, rare flora and fauna and a multitude of wildlife too extensive to list.

Services include:

Lawn service, rubbish and snow removal, full time caretaker and optional housekeeping services.

The Gatehouse is located on a quiet country road just 10 minutes from the Villages of Millbrook, Amenia, and Stanfordville, and 15 minutes from Sharon, CT. Easily accessible by car from the Taconic Parkway. Alternatively, by train from Grand Central Station to Wassaic or Rt. 22.
