Close to major Vermont ski areas Killington, Pico, Okemo; Golf courses Dorset Field Club, Rutland Country Club, and Lake St. Catherine Country Club just to name a few; shopping in Manchester, Middlebury and Lake George; historic sites such as the Hubbardton Battlefield, the Calvin Coolidge Homestead, and Shelburne farms. Many activities on or around the lake, including swimming, water skiing, or fishing in the summer, leaf peeping, apple picking or shopping in the fall, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, ice fishing or snowmobiling in the winter.
