About Alanna Schroeder
We purchased this second home in 2009 for our family to use and enjoy. We live in the Bay Area and love to spend our weekends in Tahoe Donner with our toddler and black lab. Since we are only located three hours from Lake Tahoe we like to spend our weekends decompressing in our mountain retreat while leaving all of our cares behind! While in Tahoe we spend most of our time hiking, biking, canoeing and cooking while our daughter likes to spend time at the Kids Zone and our dog like to chase his tennis ball!

Why Alanna Schroeder chose Tahoe Donner
We fell in love with this property because of its central location and all of the amenities that the Tahoe Donner Community has to offer. We spend most of our time out hiking with our daughter and our dog Porter. During the summer we love heading out to DL Bliss State Park to spend time at the beach with our toddler and in the winter we bundle up and head to the Tahoe Donner Cross Country ski area for an afternoon of cross country skiing.
What makes this cabin unique
We purchased this property because because it offered the cozy cabin feel that we were looking for in a resort community within close proximity to restaurants, ski resorts and outdoor recreation. The property faces north so the living room and kitchen are filled with natural sunlight during the day and this exposure also helps to melt the snow on the driveway during the winter. We purchased this house unfurnished so all of the furnishing are new and in great condition. We love spending time in Tahoe and the property is big enough for our family to enjoy on our own or with a second family if we feel like entertaining. We hope that you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
