The London Eye, The biggest ferris wheel in the world has got to be a must, (Each capsule holds 25 people) it is taller than St.Pauls Cathedral and from the top of it you can see for thirty miles in all directions.
Before you try that though there are many things to see in the vicinity of the apartment. The Barbican Theatre, The London Museum, The Globe theatre- a replica of Shakespeare’s original one built on the same site. This is the result of a project by the late Sam Wanamaker.
HMS Belfast, a warship from the 2nd world war. There are lots of interesting walks along both banks of the river, then on Friday mornings you can walk across Tower Bridge to visit a flea market with over five hundred stalls, thats if you like antique bargain hunting. Boat rides on the river- up and downstream.
If you are interested in the military there's the Imperial War Museum a bus ride away and The Royal Observatory and the National Maritime Museum.
The Cutty Sark an old tea clipper that used to race back from the far east with exotic cargos 'Round the Horn' is open, as a museum -All these things are just down river at Greenwich Park.
