Comfortable, warm, relaxing home.... Tahoe is wonderful in every season, for a variety of sports and interests. Google search 'North Tahoe Calendar of Events' to check out the numerous list of year-round activities and events!

Conveniently located in a residential neighborhood above Kings Beach, this warm, friendly and comfortable home boasts the perfect location from which to enjoy all of what Lake Tahoe has to offer. Incredible hiking and biking trails (which become snowshoeing and x-c skiing trails in winter!) are right across the street in the Tahoe National Forest. This home is just one mile from the Lake itself, about five miles from the Northstar Ski Resort entrance, and just minutes to the shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment of Tahoe City and Truckee.

Three nicely-appointed bedrooms, two and one-half bathrooms, newly furnished. The master suite has a beautiful log-frame queen size bed and a private bathroom. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed, with direct access to the southern deck and spa. The third bedroom has both a double and a twin bed. The home can sleep seven comfortably.

Stainless steel kitchen appliances. The gas-burning stove creates a warm and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for hanging out in the living or dining room areas, and enjoying meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. The 6-person spa, situated on a private deck, is perfect for apres ski, apres biking or hiking, or just relaxing under the stars.

The recently added HDTV with BluRay DVD player, wifi internet and more in the great room round out the entertainment.

You'll want to make this home your vacation home-away-from-home every season. Have a look... Come stay a while!

Guestbook comments from the owner

The perfect getaway - all the amenities, with easy recreation access

I've stayed at this home in both summer and winter, and will continue to do so.

A clean, well-kept home with all of the amenities we need (adequate room,

bbq grill, hot tub!!, clean sheets/towels/dishware/etc. In addition, it's got the

perfect access to all the north shore recreational activities we enjoy - fly

fishing on the truckee and little truckee rivers, mountain biking on the rim trail

(and right out the front door!), 3 minutes to the lake, hiking and snowshoeing,

and skiing/snowboarding at North Star, Mt Rose, Homewood, Alpine or Squaw

within a 30-minute drive. We love staying there, a truly relaxing home away

from home.

Super rad owners + amazing home

  • 5 of 5

This property is an ultimate homerun. Not only are the owners ridiculously cool and easy to correspond with, the house is gorgeous, timeless, and accessible to everything.

I held my birthday party at Thomas' house and everyone was in awe on how gorgeous and comfortable it was to stay there.

This will be on my go-to list everytime I visit North Tahoe.

Thanks you guys!

A Hidden Gem!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were able to get a last minute booking for this amazing lodge and couldn't have been happier. We live in California and just needed to head up to the mountains to "get away from it all" with our family (4 children and 2 adults). This place is SPECTACULAR! It has all the amenities you could ever need, such as washer and dryer (laundry soap provided), fully stocked kitchen (*minus the food, but a 24hr Safeway is only a few minutes away), sleds, raft tubes for the summer, tv's, bath robes, and more. Lots of space, quiet area, private setting, and easy to get to. We had booked this vacation, in hopes that we could play in the snow, but Mother nature had planned otherwise. Even with our original plans busted, we still had a wonderful stay. The cabin is well equipped with board games, a hot tub, cable tv, and a collection of DVD's. We were only 30-45 minutes away from Reno or South Lake Tahoe, minutes away from great restaurants, the lake, Northstar Resort, and Truckee/Tahoe airport. This cabin is nestled into a great location within a newer looking community. The Owners are very sweet and are quick to respond to any questions and concerns you may have. The cleaning team they have hired do an amazing job at making the home look clean and well organized. We can't wait to book again. What are you waiting for? Book your vacation NOW!!

Fabulous Tahoe Weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Let me say first, we've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years and this one was by far one of the best. We had five adults and a toddler in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The layout was perfect for socializing with the open kitchen, living and dining rooms, while the two bedrooms downstairs and the master upstairs, was great for quiet time and privacy.

We loved how it was decorated. We tend to find Tahoe rentals in either a mountain motif (though usually old and outdated) or more modern, but missing that Tahoe vibe. This was a perfect balance of both...updated, but reminiscent of the great outdoors.

My husband, the chef of the family, said the kitchen was stocked better than any other he's seen at a rental. The potato masher was even better than the one we had brought with us, and there was no need for the back up staples (salt, pepper and oil) that we brought just in case. We ate all our meals in and had everything we needed.

It rained almost all weekend unfortunately, but we really didn't mind staying in. The TV and sound system were great and detailed instructions were provided. We even went in the hot tub for a while, despite the downpour.

Location couldn't have been better. It's on a quiet street surrounded by trees and set off the road a bit. The drive to the beach was only a couple minutes and there's a Safeway and tons of restaurants nearby.

The owners were very helpful, responsive and provided great suggestions for activities and restaurants. We appreciated them accommodating us with some specific needs we had with our toddler as well.

Overall, it was a great weekend made even better by this house!

Family Celebration Spot

  • 5 of 5

We needed a second cabin for our family celebration of a 50th Wedding Anniversary and we hit the jackpot. This cabin checked all our boxes, beautiful, immaculate, updated home with a floor plan that provided plenty of room for 7. The master is on the main level, along with two bathrooms (master and guest) which was important with an elder relative. There are a some stairs into cabin and a short set up to main level, but these were not a problem. The driveway angle is a bit steep, but again was not a problem with help. Other than this, its hard to mention all the great details and well-thought out plan for this cabin. Initial landing has plenty of room to get those sandy/snowy shoes off and a bench to sit down. Steps up to the main level, lead to comments of "Wow, beautiful, nice", well stocked kitchen for cooking and eating, the open floor plan enables everyone to cook, eat and clean up while still being able to relax in the living room, or out on the deck while cooking on the gas grill. Master was large and airy, bathroom with new slate tile floors, plenty of room and large closets with your own robes to wear.

Downstairs laundry area, one smaller and one large bedroom and updated bathroom (with slate floors) provided plenty of room for a family. Separate hot tub deck was roomy, with wooded lounge chairs and towels provided. The Hot tub itself was a pleasure (no stinky chemical smell) and this cabin overall is VERY clean. All the enjoyment is in the details, for a rental this cabin was truly like staying in a home, and when we did have a question, the owner was in-touch immediately.

The cabin was easy access to everything in the area, but off the "main drag" for a good nights sleep. The early morning walk was a leisurely 25 min to the beach, or 5 minutes by car. Choosing a cabin online can be difficult online, but have no fear, everything you read is true and your experience will, hopefully, be as wonderful as ours. Other family members rented another larger cabin which proved to be a "house of horrors". We are so happy with Tom & Scott's cabin I almost hate to tell people about it, because we wants to rent it again next year, and every year.

Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The home is in newer shape and very clean. Lots of cool things like wood burning stove (but gas equals no mess) hot tub, wifi, extended cable, nice robes in each room, and 3 bathrooms. One minute to King's Beach, drug store, and Safeway. We have a 2 yea old and 3 year old, so deck and spa safety was a concern. Decks are completely enclosed and safe and spa secured shut with lock. The price is competitive. The owners are professional and available if questions arise.
