The cottage is nestled in the woods behind owner's home surrounded by native trees, plenty of songbirds, butterflies and beautiful sunsets. The Cardinal Cottage has one bedroom with queen size bed and a couch with pullout bed. There is a covered deck for enjoying peace and quiet at its finest. Conveniently located in beautiful Flat Rock, North Carolina, 8 minutes from historic downtown Hendersonville, sitting on the continental divide, at 2200 ft. elevation. Area attractions include: Flat Rock Playhouse, Flat Rock cinema, Carl Sandburg's Home, Biltmore Estate, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Smoky Mountains, a day trip to Harrahs Casino and plenty of golfing, hiking, kayaking, and, waterfalls.
