San Diego has so many activities to offer that all we can say is congratulations in choosing our city and in particular our home as Del Mar is one of the top destinations for vacationers. The weather in San Diego is optimal year round and activities abound. The famous Downtown Del Mar and Downtown Rancho Santa Fe have many Restaurants, exclusive spas and quaint shops to choose from.

If you enjoy theme parks, horse racing, hiking, surfing, skiing, golfing, fine dining, night life, shopping, art galleries, museums and antique shops, our eclectic San Diego has it all! We are even a short 45 miles to Tijuana Mexico!

Our estate is just minutes from the Del Mar Racetrack / Del Mar Thoroughbred Club and beaches. It is also close to the world Famous San Diego Zoo and San Diego Safari Park, SeaWorld, LEGOLAND, and Knott's Soak City water park. If you enjoy museums and history, you must visit Balboa Park and Old Town.

Believe it or not, we are also only two and a half hours from Big Bear Lake mountain resorts and Bear Mountain's Snow Summit Skiing. Let's not forget about Temecula's Wine Tasting tours and the quaint little town of Julian famous for its apple pies.

But wait.. theres more! We also have gambling casinos within half an hour away

Notes: *The grounds are perfect for private parties. Please note that the grounds keeper comes Saturdays OR Sundays , depending on his schedule, from 10:00 to 3:00. *A one week notice is required if a party is planned for those days so that arrangements can be made to have the grounds serviced on another day. *The pool gets serviced on Wednesday afternoons from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. *The garage has been convertoe into the owner's closet. Parking on grounds and street. The driveway is ample enough for 4-5 cars. Additional parking on the street is easy to find as it is a quiet residential neighborhood.

Wonderful

Our family, which consisted of two adults and three kids stayed in this wonderful house during Spring Break. Immediately on entering the driveway we were amazed at the beautiful the grounds. We took many photos and if you plan on having a wedding here you won't be disappointed with the scenery!
The house itself is huge with so much space to spread out if you need some time to yourself, or a break from the kids ( or if the kids want a break from the adults ). The sunken living room is a great place to gather together after a day of sightseeing or relaxing at the lovely pool.The location of this house was great for us as we were able to drive to downtown San Diego and even spent a day at Disneyland. My favorite part was getting up early in the morning and sitting outside with a cup of tea, listening to the birds and looking at the fabulous view over the San Diego polo fields. We were even treated to the sight of hot air balloons in the evening! We absolutely loved staying in this house and would recommend it to everyone! We will definitely be back!

Spectacular place!

My party consisted of 6 adults and 8 children.

The first thing we noticed when entering the driveway is the specular grounds. They have an inviting large front lawn with a matured majestic ficus tree as the center piece. The home itself is an inviting 70’s sprawling ranch style, kind of reminding me of something seen in the 60’s-70’s Hollywood. Large front doors lead to a very large sunken living room with a fireplace set in rock and an incredible view of the Del Mar polo fields and the hills beyond. Lots of room to spread our family out while still offering a central meeting place for us to play games and assemble a too large to complete in one weekend jigsaw puzzle. The backyard had a great pool and an even greater view of the surrounding country side! Incredible!

With 5 bedrooms spread the length of the house, everyone had their privacy, even the kids who gravitated towards their own wing.

I would recommend this house highly to families who want to be together yet have the space and separation to have privacy when needed. I would also highly recommend this house to anyone who desires a wonderful scene for an outdoor celebration or party!

Our family will definitely be repeat visitors to this wonderful home.

Great place for large or small groups

We had 4 families meet here from across the country. The home was perfect with enough room for everyone and even a game room to have some quiet. The grounds were lovely and the pool was great, although it took longer to heat up than expected. The owner was very responsive to the small issue that arose with the plumbing sending a plumber out immediately. I would recommend this home to anyone looking in the San Diego area, it is close enough to everything but far enough to feel secluded. Great place!
