Close to Oscoda and Harrisville. Multiple golf courses and excellent fresh water fishing within 30 minutes or less.

We stayed here last weekend and were very pleased. The cottage was very clean, bright, and everything was in working order. The owner responded quickly and was easy to work with. We enjoyed walking along the beach across the street. Lumberman's Monument, about 20 minutes from the cottage, was the highlight of the weekend. I didn't know that this part of the state was so beautiful, but now I can't wait to visit again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Lake Huron Cottage was everything is promised and more. The beach was sugar sand with lots of shallow water for the kids and miles of easy walking along the shore. The property was well kept and clean. The owner was great to work with. Hope to stay again next year for longer!

Wonderful cottage across the street from the beach

This cottage is in a great location.Just north of a few miles from downtown Oscoda.It has a beautiful view of Lake Huron and there's access to the beach across the street (the beach is lower then the road,which made it feel very private). The cottage inside and out was very clean and looked like it was recently updated.It looked just like the pictures on this site.Except for a smaller t.v.,but we didn't care about that.Only had it on a couple of times while we were there.We were to busy enjoying the sights in and around Oscoda.Plus the beach which was all sand(no rocks). The owner,Jeff was great to work with.I would definitely recommend this place. For the price,it was cheaper then a motel,and a whole lot nicer.Can't wait to get back up there again
