Location! Location! Location! This newly renovated rental property has lavish style with its rustic elegance and contemporary luxury. It is known for it's signature Adirondack-style furnishings, village location, and interior decorating. A quaint retreat to stay while exploring the Adirondacks.

Grand View Escapes is located in the village of Lake Placid at:

60 Grand View Ave, its on the corner of Grandview Ave and Elm Street. Its location is ideal if you want to be walking distance to Main street and shops but also want to experience a quiet residential neighborhood with privacy and serene views of greenery, trees and mountains

5 minute walk to all the shops, bars, hotels, restaurants, Olympic center, Ice rinks, Convention center and beautiful Mirror lake

15 min drive to Whiteface Mtn

5 min drive to Olympic Jumping Complex/ Olympic Sports Complex

Grand View Escapes is 1350 Sqft, fully furnished 2 Bed/1Bath private apartment attached to residential home. Private and no interior connections. Private entrance, driveway, and garage. Located on a corner lot so plenty of yard space and privacy from neighbors. The apartment entrance is on Elm Street and shown in pictures.

Bedroom 1 - Queen size bed bed, dresser, wardrobe closet

Bedroom 2 - Queen size bed, dresser, wardrobe closet

Sectional couch with full size sleeper

Amenities:

Fine bedding linens and towels included, flat screen 36' cable HDTV, DVD player, wireless internet, ipod docking stations with radio/ alarm clocks, washing machine/dryer, hardwood floors, heating with independent heating zones, lutron lighting. Fully equipped kitchen to satisfy all of your cooking needs and the most discriminating gourmet chef.

Outside your front entrance is a flagstone patio equipped with a gas BBQ, firepit, tiki torches, Adirondack lounge chairs and beautiful open views.

About Owner/Manager

The very first time I visited Lake Placid, I knew it was a special place. The simplicity and natural beauty wins your heart. The activities are endless and it is truly a great way to spend a getaway vacation with family and friends. The Adirondacks is where you go to relax, let go of time and expectations, feel inspired, & explore. When I purchased this house, my intention was to create a vacation rental which gave this experience back to others. We enjoyed every step in creating this space designed for your comfort and to meet your highest expectations. We hope you choose to stay at our retreat called Grand View Escapes

A Great Place to Stay

My family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed at Grand View Escapes for almost 2 weeks right at the peak of the foliage season. The property is located on a hillside within a neighborhood, but surrounded by beautiful maples and hardwoods.We took advantage of the fire pit and gas grill outside on the stone patio. We really enjoyed our stay. There were many personal touches inside to help you feel like you were staying in a comfortable, yet modern mountain cabin, with all of the amenities of home..The owners were responsive to our needs and quick to return the security deposit. The location was very good and within 1-2 minutes of downtown, yet far enough away to be very quiet.

Love It!!!

We loved the decor and the setup. We had two couples and we were all very comfortable and felt like we had plenty of space. The location was close enough to walk to Main St. and it was nice to have parking on the premise. The place was very clean and tastfully decorated. The laudry was a nice bonus feature. we have some nice fires outside and enjoyed our private patio. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to get away.We will definitely return to this rental again.

This apartment offered my family a wonderful escape from the hotel lodging we had originally booked. The place is very comfortable and comes complete with everything you would need to make yourself at home. The decorating is impeccable and makes you think you are in a cool boutique-style hotel only you have so much more space. Great to walk into town and enjoy Lake Placid.

Perfect Location for Ironman Athletes

This cozy/charming apartment is ideal for anyone who is competing/visiting Lake Placid for the Ironman. Located on a quiet street away from the busy downtown Grandview Escapes is perfect for some 'quiet time' during the IM week. The apartment is a short walk to downtown, IM swim start, IM expo. With the escalating prices of hotels in the area for the Ironman, the apartment is an affordable alternative to renting a hotel for the week. Its great to have a place to come back to during the race for a break.

The accommodations have all amenities required to have an enjoyable week in Lake Placid.

This is a charming, cozy home from home. Our family have just had superb vacation on Whiteface and this gorgeous cottage-like accommodation added to our fabulous time!! Can't enthuse enough about this place!!! Short walk to Main Street Lake Placid, restaurants and shopping even Starbucks!
