From the time we booked until the end of our stay, our experience was outstanding! The owners and caretaker were very accommodating, making everything easy and straightforward. They were a pleasure to deal with, but the real joy was seeing the property for the first time. The location is incredible, probably the best setting on the island. It is situated in a way that is totally private, but only a short distance to stores and restaurants.
The landscaping is beautiful with all the tropical touches, including some wildlife - hermit crabs, lizards and an iguana! The centerpiece, however, is the amazing saltwater pool! It was perfect for our whole family, especially for our two granddaughters who never wanted to leave. The view from the pool is gorgeous and we loved the fountain and the underwater seating - so much fun!
We were prepared for the rocky shore and enjoyed seeing all the different coral. The easy entry into the ocean is just a short distance from the house, as described, and was a great place to snorkel. It was so nice being able to explore the reef right there.
The house is very comfortable and was set up perfectly for our family with access to the patio from both bedrooms. We had no problem with internet and were able to use the local phone to call people in our group staying at other rental properties. We found the kitchen to be well-equipped and functional, though not fancy. Since we didn't spend a lot of time in the house, any little flaws did not bother us.
All in all, our whole experience was positive and memorable. It was actually a perfect vacation and we're so happy that we found Sundial Cove.
