Just completed in January, 2012 this tastefully furnished Townhome is ideally located in Seattle's most sought after neighborhood. Only a block from your front door are some of the finest restaurants and shops in Seattle, and miles of trails through the lush greenery of the Arboretum (U of W's Botanical Garden).
This three story Townhome has everything you will need for a temporary home away from home. From the top level master bedroom with it's comfortable Queen size bed, full bath, and sitting room you can see tree lined Lake Washington Boulevard. On the main floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with polished granite countertops and stainless appliances, and a living room dining area with a cozy fireplace, leather sofabed, and 40' flat screen TV with surround sound. Just off the living room is a sun drenched deck where you can have your morning coffee.

Our week long stay was wonderful. The home was comfortable and had all we needed. We enjoyed being able to do our own cooking in the spacious kitchen, room enough for multiple cooks. Walks to near by parks and local resturants and shops was great too. Convienent access to bus or driving most anywhere. Thanks for sharing your home Roberta.
Roberta was extremely accommodating and responsive. She even called after two days into our stay to be certain we were comfortable. The townhouse was clean, well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked. I would stay there again and highly recommend Roberta.

My wife and I stayed in this beautiful townhome while visiting family. We don't get out to the Seattle area often, and there were lots of things we wanted to do that were taking us in every direction. The location of this property made downtown Seattle a quick 10-15 minute trip and I-5 (to get out of town) was even closer.
The property description is accurate and all amenities are provided, including plenty of linens, dishes, kitchen utensils, etc. Several excellent breakfast spots are within easy walking distance and there are at least two grocery stores at about a 5 minute drive.
The only reason I did not give this property a five star rating is the garage. On street parking is very limited, so I wouldn't count on that. The garage is great, but it's very, very small. Hertz gave us a Nissan Altima which is great, because it's what I drive anyway, but it would BARELY fit in the garage. There was room to open the doors on either side, but with the nose an inch from the back wall, the garage door cleared the rear bumper by less than a foot so that you literally had to open the garage to walk around the car. The narrow alleyway also made backing out a bit of a trick, depending on how the neighbors across the street had parked.
I would definitely stay here again - it's really a great place - but would be certain to rent a compact car.
Located just a block from the Arboretum and a short walk to the beach. One can hike the many trails of the Arboretum, or swim or sunbath at the beach. Restaurants and wine tasting are everywhere since Madison Park is the core of the restaurant district in Seattle.
Great boutique shops and specialty foods i.e. chocolate, gourmet takeaway, etc.
