|Minimum Stay||3 nights|
Location, location, location! Renovated baths & kitchen with ACU in bedroom! This is the best beachfront unit with spectacular views of the ocean, literally a stone's throw from your lanai. What better way to spend your vacation in Hawaii but by having a Mai Tai on your private lanai staring & mesmerized at the ocean/beach, watching the sunset! Awesome 3rd floor (walk-up) unit has spectacular views of famous North Shore surf breaks (Haleiwa - home of the Triple Crown Surf Tournament as well as Bay Watch). Good to know your buildings - this unit is in the breachfront building (B for Beach) of Haleiwa Surf Condos facing the ocean. Great for that romantic get-away or a fun family vacation. Lots to see & do! Haleiwa Surf Condominium is conveniently located near Historic Haleiwa Town for shopping and restaurants. With a full kitchen, you can have simple to gourmet meals in the condo or delicious dine-out meals just down the road. If you want to meet others, there is a common area BBQ with picnic tables, where people in the building come together in the evening often to mingle.
When to come to Hawaii? You ask…well each season is wonderful and the temperature doesn’t change much more than 10 degrees from winter to summer, it’s typically in the 80’s daily. Our tropical tradewinds cool us in the summer and the tropical breeze off of the ocean warms us in the winter.
Summer - the ocean on the North Shore is calmer in the summer. Although there can be some smaller wave action to surf, it’s typically a great time to snorkel, boat, fish, kayak, SUP and swim. The Haleiwa Boat Harbor is nearby next to Haleiwa Alii Beach Park. Sharks cove is fabulous for snorkeling (a great reef shelf with many colorful fish, coral & turtles).
Winter – the ocean on the North Shore is famous for the BIG WAVES. This is so incredibly spectacular to watch (or surf if you dare). A definite must to see is Pipeline, Sunset & Waimea beaches (can reach up to 25 feet)! And of course can watch right off the lanai, Haleiwa, Avalanche Puaena Pt. & Walls.
Spring – can be end of winter swells or balmy beginning of summer or more than likely a combination of both seasons.
Fall – can be beginning of winter swells or end of summer calm oceans, probably a combination of both seasons.
Fall thru Spring is whale season and Humpbacks can be seen breaching from your lanai. Most seasons the Honu (sea turtles) are swimming in the reef and can be seen popping up their heads or while snorkeling along with an array of beautiful colorful fish. Oh and visiting Monk Seal sunbathing on the beach in front of your condo as well as dolphins spinning by. Truly nature’s wildlife zoo for you viewing pleasure.
Kona Winds – periodically through-out the year there are Kona wind days (humid). But mostly in late Summer to early Fall.
We are Kamaaina. I Robin am a real estate broker.
Robin Boolukos, owner/broker purchased this condo in 2012
We bought this unit as our family loves the beach. Our son surfs, boogie boards, jet skis, swims & fishes any free moment he has.
Location - can't beat the views here! Privacy, newly renovation & ACU.
We can not say enough about this condo and Robin. Right from the day we booked with Robin, the trip was a dream. The condo is nicely renovated and we did not want for anything the entire stay. The beach was perfect for our 10 and 12 year old boys and the snorkeling was amazing. The turtles were cool too. The extra towels were perfect and the boogie boards were much appreciated. Haleiwa is a great place to stay and has lots of dining options with the food trucks in town as well as restaurants. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone coming to Oahu. You have thought of everything Robin, Mahalo!
This was my first time on Oahu and I could not have picked a better place to stay. The view was amazing. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. I felt welcome, relaxed and safe. Haleiwa is a perfect little town. I was happy to have a rental car. Robin was easy to work with and checked in about the hurricane warning.
Michelle and I are back on the mainland and what a time we had in the condo. Everything about the condo was perfect, amenities, the beach, location, privacy. We had a great time just hanging out at the beach or day trips to another part of the island. There will be a next time, for sure. Thank you for such a wonderful piece of property that you share.
The perfect place to go if you want to get away from it all and enjoy the beach and the water and feel like you're at home. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for crowds or a great big party.
Beautifully appointed condo in a fantastic location. We will definitely come back. Had everything we needed and more. Lots of snorkeling equipment, beach towels, chairs, and even sunscreen. That's just for the outside! Inside had even more- we didn't lack for any dishes, cutlery, small appliances, etc.
The beach outside the condo was great and we saw sea turtles on the beach every night we were there. Evenings on the lanai watching the sunset was our favorite part of the vacation!
Just a couple of small issues that would help make the condo perfect- the majority of the electrical outlets in the bedroom didn't work so we did the charging of our electronics in the kitchen and we could only find one dish towel to dry dishes so we had to use washcloths. Neither of these were a big deal and we were able to make do. Also, the range hood over the stove is a bit low and my 6' 1" sweetheart kept banging his head on it. Finally he just stayed out of the kitchen which I think enhanced his vacation all the way around.
All in all, wonderful experience and we can't wait to come back! Thank you, Robin, it was awesome!
My husband and I rented this condo for two weeks in March and had a blast. Very Clean, extremely well supplied and modern updating, Easy to walk to Haleiwa every morning, great swimming and snorkeling right outside the unit. Owner very easy to rent from and easy to contact. Robin even check on us with a Tsunami Advisory ! That's service! We will be back !
Historic Haleiwa Town is self contained with everything from grocer, pharmacy, banks, shaved-ice stands, coffee, art galleries, and great restaurants to even a McD’s if the keiki (kids) are with you. Some must-do’s & favorites are Matsumoto’s Shaved-ice, Haleiwa Joe’s (you can walk to), Jameson’s by the Sea, Kua’aina Burgers (great fries too), Cholo's Mexican, the Shrimp trucks, way too many to name. You can take surfing lessons or rent a board in the many surf shops in Haleiwa as well as buy the cutest bikini in the darling boutiques! Kayak up the river from the boat harbor under picturistique Anahulu bridge. Go on a Shark adventure, fishing tour or boat ride at the Harbor. Visit Waimea Botanical Gardens & learn the hula. Or just sunbathe and take that long stroll on the beach.
Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Hawaiian Water Adventure Park & Polynesian Cultural Center are all approximately 30 to 45 minutes away, so nothing is too far away from this unique experience in Hawaii. You will remember this stay at (and probably return to) Haleiwa Surf and Hawaii. We are looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience and condo with you!
