Sunny, spacious beach house with gorgeous decks that open on to the best family and surfing beach in Santa Cruz. Step out of the surf and into the hot tub to enjoy your private view of the park, lagoon, beach and ocean. Normal stay Saturday to Saturday.

Private yet spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath house opens onto large front and back yards. Master suite with ocean view and private access to the hot tub deck, second bedroom with private entrance, and a third room with four beds. Hardwood floors, picture windows, fantastic views. Attention to detail: fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, stove and oven, microwave, coffeemaker, and blender. New infrared gas grill. Private WiFi throughout the house. State of the art 3D capable 55' flat screen TV with cable, Blue Ray, Netflix, and Hulu!

Beds for 8 adults, plus more spaces for kids. The extra large parking lot offers plenty of room to play in the yard. In this beachfront neighborhood of permit parking, there is room on the property to park 6 cars.

Have dinner on the deck, settle in with a book on a lounge chair, stroll to the beach, walk to the coffee shop, or soak in the custom, extra deep hot tub. Chairs, balls, and toys for the yard and beach, board games for indoors. There’s plenty to do, yet lots of ways to just relax.

The beach is exceptional in this town in that it is never covered by the high tide. No cliffs nor slippery rocks, you can always feel the warm, soft sand beneath your toes.

Once you set foot on this property you’ll never want to leave. Located at the end of a quiet street in the heart of a great beach town, it is perfect for a family reunion or a couples' romantic getaway. Over 1000 square feet of new decks provide a private area for sunbathing and a grand space for entertainment and relaxation. Hear birds singing in the trees overhead and the sound of crashing waves.

And the surf! This is the best destination summer surf spot in California! It has it all, point, reef and beach breaks from beginner to intermediate to advanced. You can walk to a dozen top notch spots like 26th Ave. (famous for aerials), Pleasure Point (long, ruler edge rights), Second Point & O’Neil’s (great for beginners), Sewers (primo tubes, advanced), 38th Ave. (perhaps the best summer wave in town), the Hook (another classic point) and Privates (another great beginner point wave). The property manager can offer you some tips and insight based on his 40 years in the water. Come back home and take a hot outdoor shower to wash off the sand before popping into the hot tub.

This place is something special. The location can't be beat. The house is comfortable, clean and well equipped. It has a great, light, bright, warm feel to it. The views are great. The privacy is wonderful yet there's plenty lots of room to spread out on an double sized lot.

No other beach property in Santa Cruz is quite like this one. You have an unobstructed view of the beach, park and lagoon from the huge front deck and yard. You have all the benefits of being at the beach with a lot less traffic and noise.

Perfect Location for Families with Small Children

My husband and I stayed her with our 2.5 year old for 10 days. We wanted a 1 story house (IMHO, a 1 story is more toddler friendly) where we could bike to both Capitola and Santa Cruz, where we could literally walk out of the house onto a beach, and where we had an ocean view. This was PERFECT. The house is ~ a 10 minute bike ride to Capitola and ~ a 15 minute bike ride to Santa Cruz. There is a small local grocery store in a strip mall that is ~ a 10 minute bike ride away. The beach is literally outside of the doorstep, you can see/hear the waves from the house, and we saw dolphins/seals throughout our stay. As for the house, it is well stocked with everything one needs, including extra towels and bed linens. The outdoor shower provides *hot* water to rinse off before sitting in the hot tub or coming back into the house, and we loved to sit in the hot tub or front porch during the sunset. The owner, Mark, was extremely friendly and helpful before our arrival, and we had fresh flowers from the garden in each room of the house when we arrived. The only two minor complaints I have are (1) the dishwasher was somewhat old and didn't clean the dishes well and (2) there were no beach toys in the garage (previous reviewers commented that there were beach toys in the garage) but again, these were minor. We will definitely recommend this house and come back.

Wonderful family weekend! Perfect for surfers and those with little kids.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful home. The living area is huge, and there are 3 bedrooms--- a large master, a queen, and a third room with bunk beds for 4. There are 2 amazing decks-- one for eating and lounging and another with a nice hot tub. Both overlook the beach but are recessed enough to be private and quiet. The back yard has a a beanbag toss and a huge, new BBQ-- a great area for little ones to play in contained space. In terms of amenities, the kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools, there are plenty of towels and extra bedding, and the garage if full of beach toys, chairs, etc. The best thing about the house is the location. It is just across the street from 26th street beach and a quick walk to Pleasure Point. We spent the days back and forth to the beach for playtime, wading, and the parents even had a few excellent surf sessions nearby. We have rented a lot in SC and this is one of the very best places we have stayed. The house is ideal for 2 families with young kids. We will definitely be back.

Awesome Property!

This property is perfect, the house has everything you could possibly need - from a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, plenty of towels/blankets, a hairdryer and even a kiddie pool! The owner and property manager really put some thought into what makes a great property rental - and boy, they got it right! The location is perfect, secluded and plenty of room for kids to play. Also, right across the street from the beach - and it's a great beach!! Lots of nice walking areas, and about a mile away from the Boardwalk. The beds are SO comfortable, and the hot tub is great - day or night! We had a great time, and will definitely recommend this property to friends and family - and will definitely look to stay here again in the future! Mark is a great property manager, very easy to work with and super friendly.

Fantastic location in front of the best family beach in the heart of Santa Cruz. The beach out front provides endless fun body surfing, surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding, volleyball, etc. It is also a wonderful romantic place to stroll the evening sunset.

Nearby are the Boardwalk, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, as well as lots of shops and plenty of things to do.

Notes:
The home has just been remodeled.. It is a very, very sweet set up. Next door they are remodeling their house. No renter has had a problem with this. They have been very considerate.
