Blue Heron Lakehouse -A November 2014 article in Philadelphia Magazine says of Blue Heron Lakehouse: "Sit in an Adirondack chair, sip steaming coffee, and overlook the lake that's steps from your back door. There's a canoe for you to use, and, come winter, Rockwellian ice-skating, plus skiing at nearby Big Bear. This house is nicely appointed (sharp knives! At a vacation rental!")
In the summer, recline on the docks, swim in a serene glacier lake, then paddle out with a kayak or canoe. Enjoy cocktails on the bluestone terrace by water’s edge, or dine al fresco on the deck at sunset. Just 2 hrs from NYC, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sleeps 6, with wifi throughout. It’s tucked away on a quiet dirt road, but convenient to shops and eateries in the trendy Narrowsburg, Barryville area.
Blue Heron Lakehouse - If you daydream about relaxing lakeside, gazing out at the still water, with no sound but birds and the occasional ripple from a rising fish, Blue Heron Lakehouse is the place for you!
We spent our Thanksgiving at Blue Heron Lake House and loved every minute of it. The house is very open, welcoming and comfortable. It has everything you need to enjoy the lake, the amazing view or just a cozy dinner. We would definitely recommend it!
