This luxury French Quarter Condo is available for the discriminating couple ( age 35 and older) that desire an authentic New Orleans experience. Decorated with European antiques and art work from local artists, (inquire about purchasing the art), this condo is located in the heart of the French Quarter on St. Louis Street between Chartres and Decatur Street. It is two blocks from Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral; two blocks to Cafe du Monde; two blocks to world famous Bourbon Street, three blocks to a grocery store; and only four blocks to Canal Street. Many of New Orleans' most famous restaurants are just steps away. K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen is 1/2 block away. NOLA, one of Emeril Lagasse's great restaurants is just steps away and is next door to the New Orleans School of Cooking.
This is 1,000 square feet of luxury space with a large balcony over-looking St. Louis Street where you can sip coffee in the morning to the French Quarter waking up or have cocktails in the evening before going out. Or if you prefer, enjoy the charming courtyard with a glass of wine or cocktail while listening to the relaxing and soothing sounds of the beautiful fountain.
This building was built in 1807 and has recently been fully renovated. There is complimentary Wi-Fi, 52 inch LED TV with cable, central air and heat, washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, dishware, toaster, coffee pot etc.), stove and a convection/microwave oven. Marble floors and countertops adorn the kitchen while beautiful hard wood floors stretch throughout the rest of the condo. There is a complete bathroom with towels, etc. Full floor to ceiling windows allow easy access to the balcony to enjoy all of the excitement the Quarter has to offer.

My wife and I just spent 4 great nights in New Orleans over the St. Patti's Day celebration. We are so glad we chose this property. Charlie was a great host. He greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the condo, leaving us with helpful hints about the area. We are frequent visitors of New Orleans and after doing the "Hotel Thing" on all previous visits, we decided to give a condo a try. This property was the perfect set up for a couple wanting a charming and roomy place while enjoying all that New Orleans has to offer. The condo was amazing. Very authentic and tastefully decorated. Nice sunny/large patio for hanging out or entertaining friends.
Of course, we spent a lot of time visiting the city, but really enjoyed our time in the condo. It felt like our home away from home. It will be very difficult to go back to a hotel. You will be hard pressed to find anything as nice for the money. Charlie's place is fantastic. We look forward to our next visit.
I just returned from a 4 night stay in this incredible apartment, and cannot think of a negative thing to stay. I myself lived in New Orleans for 4 years, and have stayed (or had guests of mine stay) in almost all of the big hotels and bed n breakfast's in the city. Of all of them, and for the price, this is by far my favorite!
It is well-kept, spacious, beautifully decorated, and in a perfect location. Although other apartments in the heart of the French Quarter can be loud, the location of this place (on a smaller side street away from the more raucous Bourbon and Royal streets) makes this location surprisingly peaceful. At the same time, however, it is still in easy walking distance to all of the French Quarter attractions. It is also an easy walk across to the Central Business District for access to the museums and uptown Streetcar. If you are feeling adventurous, it is also in a walk-able distance to the Bywater/Marigny neighborhoods.
The owner was incredibly welcoming and takes great care of the space. I mentioned it already, but I really cannot stress enough how well it is decorated! Gorgeous antique furniture contrasts nicely with the elegant modern artwork on the walls, and the ~20 ft ceilings make this place feel like a palace!
I would absolutely rent this property again for any special occasion, and I would recommend this for anyone who is looking for an authentic, yet luxurious Nola experience!
Magnificent!! This superb luxury condominium has everything, and more that you would need for a great vacation in New Orleans. Located in the French Quarter on St Louis Street, it is only a stone’s throw from cafes, bars, restaurants, art galleries and souvenir and grocery shops. The Café du Monde is only five minutes’ walk away with it’s delicious beignets and café au lait, NOLA, which is Emeril’s only restaurant in the French Quarter is across the street, Johnny’s is just next door if you fancy an inexpensive snack to eat in or take back to the condo. In the next block there is The Rib Room in the Omni Hotel where we ate a memorable Thanksgiving dinner - great food, atmosphere and service.
And, after being exhausted from the night-time noise and excitement of Bourbon Street, or being full of an overdose of Oysters Rockefeller to return to the serenity of the condo and it’s comfortable bed, to awaken refreshed, and with a cup of tea, to sit on the gallery to watch the passers-by and listen to fragments of their conversation, is an out- of this-world experience. The accommodation is well furnished with sofas and a recliner to relax in and read or watch TV. There are numerous brightly colored paintings on the walls and many interesting ornaments and antique furniture. The kitchen area is spacious with matching pans, glasses and tableware if you are inclined to stay in for a meal. There is a large fridge/freezer and a small dishwasher. The bathroom has a washer and dryer, and a bath-tub /shower with gallons of hot water.
This condo is one of the best, if not THE BEST, we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wishes to visit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Thank you Charlie, for your kind hospitality. I hope we can make it back again in 2015.
The artwork, the antiques, the attention to details and little extras constitute the tip of the iceberg on how fabulous this Condo is. The location is literally in the heart of the French Quarter with incredible shops and cafes all around, on a lively street that is amazingly quiet and peaceful at bedtime. We loved that we could pop in and out throughout the days, to drop of something or use the restroom. Very secure entrance into the courtyard with it's ancient brick and bubbling fountain. If you want to experience the dream of living life in the French Quarter this is the magical place to do it. Cheers and Many thanks to Charlie for all of his help!!!
We loved everything about this place. It was clean, well maintained and even more beautiful than the photos suggested. We definitely plan to stay here again on our next visit to NOLA. The location is close to everything and Charlie gave us recommendations for some really excellent restaurants. Can't wait to return!
Staying in this condo gave us the feeling of living in New Orleans rather than just visiting. From the balcony we could watch the daily activities of shop keepers and passersby, then retreat into the cool, comfortable and beautifully furnished interior. Despite the sometimes noisy street in the daytime, when the balcony was closed, everything was very quiet inside. The condo was very comfortably appointed too and clean. The location is excellent, with wonderful restaurants, shops, and points of interest within easy walking distance. Charlie, the owner, was a gracious and hospitable Southern gentleman, very willing to assist with recommendations and anything we needed. We look forward to our next opportunity to visit, if you don't get there first.
