The house is spacious with room for kids and adults to each have their own space. The location is a short walk to the beach and not crossing 30 A is a HUGE asset. If you are looking for beach views...this house is not for you. You see a glimpse when standing in the far front corner of the balcony. However, the sounds, smell, and breeze of the ocean are always captivating.
We had small issues with maitanence and it is the small issues that can be very annoying. We had a group of 12 people and the dish washer was not working and the ice maker stayed clogged or something and did not produce enough ice for our meals. The remotes in the house need batteries and several light bulbs were out. Internet access comes and goes... The rental company was contacted and very apologetic but did not react quickly.
The kitchen in this house has great appliances but once again, it is the little things that make or break. There are adequate cooking pots, pans, etc. but, no casserole dishes, muffin pans, etc. Also, for a coffee drinker, the "coffee cups" are a tease!
Grayton beach is a perfect family location and our family loves our vacations here every year. We will continue to vacation here and we have learned a few more details to ask our rental companies about before we rent.
