Overview

Portland Condo Rental Photos and Description

1 Bedroom + Convertible Bed, 1 bath (sleeps 2-4)

Recently renovated with all new furniture & linens - we are making our second home available to you for that truly special stay. Centrally located downtown overlooking the lively Riverplace esplanade. Restaurants and more are right outside your door with easy access to PSU, Keller Auditorium, OHSU and waterfront parks, all within 5 blocks. Convenient to the Portland Streetcar (3 blocks away).

The first thing you'll notice in this top floor corner unit is the light filling the rooms from the large East-facing windows. Next, you'll be greeted with a 180 degree view of the river where you can see SIX of Portland's famous bridges through the big windows in the living, dining and bedrooms. Only then will you notice the tasteful, elegant contemporary furnishings and the peaceful, relaxing ambiance. But it's really all about the view.

In the morning, make coffee in the well-equipped kitchen and enjoy it on the deck overlooking the river or go out to one of the 3 cafes that are less than a block away. In the afternoon, sip a glass of wine on the deck and watch the dragon boats on the river below. Relax in the deep chaise and read a book or just enjoy the view of the bridges and the East Side. In the evening, go to one of the many restaurants, wine bars or pubs that are all within a block or two of your front door. Or stay in and watch the game on the big screen TV.

Sleeps up to 4 (the couch converts into a surprisingly comfortable queen-sized bed), an open, spacious-feeling 845 sq. ft. with Berber carpets throughout.

One designated secured parking space is included, located in the garage below the unit (additional paid parking is available if you need it in one of the public garages nearby).

The bedroom features a king size bed with a Westin Heavenly mattress, high-threadcount sheets and blackout blinds if you choose to sleep in. There is plenty of storage available in the large walk-in closet. The big East-facing windows allow you to sit in bed and look out over the river.

The Italian marble full kitchen is equipped with a dinnerware service for 8, a nice set of pots & pans, toaster, coffee pot, press pot, electric kettle, microwave, fridge, dishwasher & ceramic top stove.

The dining room seats four with its own large window looking up the river, taking in the bridges and East side.

The living room has the most impressive view of all.

The bathroom features a spacious shower with two separate shower heads, one at each end. The Italian marble topped vanity is equipped with two sinks and large mirrors.

There are a full-sized washer and dryer if you should need them.

Children are welcome, but there is a deck and large windows that open fairly wide - use your judgment.

30 day minimum.

Why Paul Henderson chose Portland

We love Portland. We searched for a year for just the right place for the perfect getaway. Our goal is to offer the nicest short-term rental experience in the heart of the city (when we aren't staying there ourselves)!

Guestbook comments from the owner

(Guest book comment written by Reba, 11): Thanks Paul & Jenn for letting us stay at the lovely condo. It's very white. The beds were very comfortable and the view was amazing. We also enjoyed the food places you suggested. They were very good.

Thank you again for letting us stay here. Loved watching the dragon boat racers practice and the Portland Spirit at night and the lights of the city were beautiful.

p.s.- beautiful place want to come back again. Love the fluffy robes.

Always a wonderful time

  • 5 of 5

This was the second time we have stayed at this property. Easy access to streetcar for Portland adventures, but also a short and safe walking distance to SW Portland. With such a well equipped kitchen, we don't have to pack our own gear. Even if you are staying home, the boat traffic is exciting, there is usually lots of bridge action, there is always something going on at the marina, and lots of pedestrians 4 floors down on sunny days strolling on the promenade. The lights of the city at night are amazing. We hope to come back some day.

A Magical PDX Escape

  • 5 of 5

Add us to the list of renters who have fallen in love with this magical place. I have just reread the reviews and it was like being reminded of all we enjoyed here and possibilities for the future

Kudos to the landlords for exceptionally outfitting their condo and for the perfect way they shared it with us.

Comfort and convenience with a stunning river view

  • 5 of 5

This condo is an ideal blend of convenience, comfort, and vista views. It is well-stocked with any items one might need on a stay away from home. It is convenient to cook in or eat out and the owners have done a consummate job of providing suggestions/reviews for dining, entertainment and any needed sundries around town. Watching the activity on the river, even mid-winter, is delightful. Communication with the owners is friendly, prompt, and helpful. I highly recommend this location for any extended-stay visit to the Portland area.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

We stayed the month of December 2014 through New Years, visiting our daughter and her family. The condo was wonderful, the views were outstanding, always changing. Our two year old granddaughter loved watching the boats decorated for Christmas go up and down the river every night for two weeks! On a clear day you can see Mount Saint Helens along with Mount Hood. Beautiful.

The property was clean and well maintained. How nice to walk out of your condo and be seated at a restaurant within five minutes and home five minutes after you finish your meal. We walked everywhere. Powell's books, shopping, Tuba Christmas concert, all the restaurants, can't say enough. At the end of the day, it was so nice to walk into the door and relax.

Paul, the owner, was great, he checked in several times to make sure everything was perfect. I would recommend this to friends and family. Looking forward to staying here again!

Great property

  • 4 of 5

This is a great place to stay. Lovely views of the harbor and several bridges. Great location. We. We're able to walk all over. No need for the car. Had some wonderful food and wines. So much better than staying in a hotel. We did have two days without water due to a pipe break but paul did notify us by email about the outage. Everything is in the condo. No need to bring anything which is great. Got used to the train fter awhile. They do leave ear plugs if needed. We were able to clean like home.

Perfect Portland Condo

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our six week stay at this wonderfully located and outfitted condo. Many of Portland's best sights and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Views from every window delight and the evening lights are lovely. The owners are very responsive and provide great recommendations for sightseeing, shopping and dining. We would definitely recommend this condo to our friends and family.
