Welcome to Guadalupe River Resort, a spectacular lodge consisting of 9 bedrooms and huge patio with boat ramp and jet ski ramp and separate cottage along with paddleboats and canoes.
This lodge caters to people who enjoy being outside on a beautiful winding river and who want to be able to sleep a large number of family members. Two of the bedrooms have french doors that open out to a patio that overlooks the winding Guadalupe River. When you use the canoes or paddleboats, you can travel up and down the river viewing homes and farms on both sides. The river is quiet with few if any motorized boats.
This home is located on MeadowLake, the 4th lake in a chain of 4 lakes on the Guadalupe River. Lake Dunlap, Lake McQueeney, and Lake Placid are just upstream. Being a little farther away from the Canyon Dam and Canyon Lake allows you to be away from the hustle and bustle of the large crowds. Go home to a nice relaxing place where Mother Ducks, baby ducks and geese float calmly beside your dock. Bring your boat, canoe, kayak, jet skis, or fishing gear and enjoy the river. Relax or get together on the huge concrete patio overlooking the widest part of the Guadalupe River. Or fish from the lower wooden deck just inches from the water.
You will stay in a 9 bedroom, fully furnished home with everything you need to relax in comfort, surrounded by Nature's Beauty and beautiful art work, close to everything needed to meet your vacation rental needs. I do have extra accomidations available for larger parties such as a private cottage rented separately.
We are located close to great tubing on the Comal River and the Guadalupe River, and the Schlitterbahn, the Largest and Best Waterpark in the United States. And only a short drive to Gruene(pronounced 'Green') Hall, the oldest operating Dance Hall in Texas, where John Travolta danced in his beautiful white angel wings in the movie 'Michael'. If shopping interests you, you can visit one of the largest outlet malls in nearby San Marcos. San Antonio is less than an hour away, if you are interested in seeing the Alamo or enjoying some time on the scenic downtown San Antonio Riverwalk. Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Seaworld are only a 40 minute drive away. The world famous McNay Museum and several other museums in San Antonio are worth the trip.
Our home includes 10 bedrooms:
1) Master bedroom with king-sized bed and queen size bed
2) vintage twin bed with desk and dresser
3) twin trundle bed(sleeps two people in this room)
4) twin bed and queen bed
5) room with triple futon(can sleep up to 8 people in this room)

6) room with library wall and queen-sized bed
7) room with futon that sleeps two
8) room with double bed plus bunkbeds
9) loft with queen size sleep comfort air mattress
These homes feature hardwood and tiled floors throughout. The master bedroom, library room, and private cottage all have large decks which overlook the river. There is a large concrete
patio for parties with a lower deck, jet ski ramp, boat dock, and a wooden pier for fishing inches from the water. The owner lived in Hawaii prior to moving to Texas, and she says this is the closest property she could find that reminded her of Hawaii. The large concrete patio overlooks the widest part of the Guadalupe River. There is a Bar-B-Que pit available for grilling. This property is also great for Winter Texans, Family Reunions, Baby Showers, Girlfriend Getaways, Business Parties, and Weddings.
Pets are welcome with an additional pet deposit. No smoking inside either house, or entire deposit will be forfeited. No alcohol or non prescription drugs outside of the home or entire deposit will be forfeited. No loud parties to disturb the neighbors. It is a quiet neighborhood and we like to keep it this way. Any loud parties will cause you to loose your deposit.
